SB: $9.20 (92 bb)
BB: $10 (100 bb)
UTG: $11.74 (117.4 bb)
MP: $8.22 (82.2 bb)
Hero (CO): $10.51 (105.1 bb)
BTN: $9.90 (99 bb)

Preflop: Hero is CO with A A
2 folds, Hero raises to $0.25, BTN calls $0.25, SB folds, BB calls $0.15

Flop: ($0.80) 3 7 Q (3 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $0.50, BTN calls $0.50, BB folds

Turn: ($1.80) 7 (2 players)
Hero bets $1.10, BTN calls $1.10

River: ($4) 9 (2 players)
Hero bets $2, BTN raises to $4, Hero calls $2

Preflop: Standard. BTN plays 100/67 in 3 hands and BB plays 47/28 in 36 hands.

Flop: Cbet for value.

Turn: Cbet for value again.

River: Decided to cbet again and target calls from Qx,TT,88, but then he minraises. Raising river is often a sign of a very strong hand, but I need to be good in 17% of cases. The question is - will I be?

With the paired board I do not think you can call. He has 7x,33,99 in his range.

Tough spot. Generally no, you are not in front here 17% of the time - river bluff raises are incredibly rare on micro limits. Even a micro maniac will be worried about the strength you've shown over three barrels.

General play note - 2.5BB is probably a little weak preflop in micros. Most will raise 3, and I still merrily advocate for 4BB raises below NL50.

I think u can call.
The reason is I can see him doing this w Q9, that has reasonable combos.

I think you are not very often ahead here. I would usually fold here but if there is a little chance that villain does this with AQ or KK that he didn't 3bet pre, I would call. The price is so good.

If we assume he is defending the normal range here vs CO he has many 7x hands,33,99. I highly doubt that he will defend Q9o, at least he shouldn't. If he has Q9s in his range too with all those other hands that beat us, we have only 6%. We can barely call if villain has Q9s and AQ in his range here but would he really minraise TPTK OTR?

I saw similar plays at tables and mini-raise is not always super monsters... but, in some cases, a thin value bet when villain THINKS he is ahead. And I mentioned Q9 thinking he could call w Q9o ip (loose, but possible).

We have insignificant sample on villain and we cannot make an educated guess. I am not a fan of calling in such situation. It is more possible he has 7x than Q9.

Ugh. It's probably a fold but I'm almost always paying him off in-game because I'm a fish.

Not that fish... great odds, and its a weird play on river.

thazar, if villain is playing too many tables, can be possible a misclick (I do sometimes).

BUT... I dont think so in this case.

Yeah the odds is what makes it the not-worst-call ever, but I doubt he's bluffing 1/5 times and I don't think there's many value hands <AA that take this line.

It's a very small mistake in the long run, but probably something worth considering.

the other thing is if you start folding folding to a clickback it with a decent hand it can make you exploitable. (this obviously requires villain to be able to exploit it - which is unlikely at NL10)
