I would just call the turn and her-evaluate on the river. No point in 3bet the turn with only top pair and you don't want to blow up the pot against a short stack.

Why are you betting so smallish?

Two flush draws are possible…

I guess the fun player can have weaker aces or draws so i would call

Shove River if no flush completes

I'd just call. I think a set would raise a lot bigger (for value and protection )there is 2 possible flush draws and a possible SD. I'd check call all non flush or str8 rivers. He's short also so if he shoves I would call as well.

On teh turn call. He could have A5, A7, or some clubs what came on the turn.

Nobody suggested fold — good.
I did call,
The river showed another 5, and went check, check

Opponent showed a A♥:7♦:
I think I lost the minimum, but I got lucky since I would have called a reasonable river bet

Don't bet stupid sizes for no reason and then question yourself when you get raised.

There are many spots in which I intentionally bet small IP after calling Flop to induce raise and get thin value/protection. This isn't one of those spots.

You clearly have a ton of value here so bet huge. And fold to the Turn raise here - Most people at low stakes aren't raising Turns enough - the only saving grace for you here is the abundance of draws which would mean that vs an aggro player you would have to call Turn raise and call down some blank runouts sometimes.

actually given that he's like 40bb

I think I would bet big and if he raise jam for protection here I would just stack off. Cos I think that could often include some sort of AX that wants to protect, or a randomly played draw.

Probability of such hands fall drastically at 100bb though so it would then be a bet/fold at deeper stacks.
