Busted out 6th with AK. Did I push too early in this game or should you play agressively at the bubble?

We are getting this in all day long and need to hold. What hand are we waiting for?
However, it is possible to look stronger next time by trying a half stack raise knowing we arent folding.

Let me also state for what it is worth that DON's not a profitable in the long run as you need to win 65% + times over thousands of games and variance just doesn't allow that for the average player.

I think you played the hand like you should. You just got unlucky, and that happens in poker. Next time, you could try to just raise a standard 3x bb and take the hand from there. Big Slick is kind of overrated because it looks so good, and if you miss on the flop you can just give it up (unless you of cause sense some weakness from your opponent). Hope this helps.

Hello all,

kierantierney convert your hand, please. In this for it is hard to analize. Here you can see how to convert and post a hand for analiz.

way 2 early for a shove on this flop, looks super weak. calling you all day with V's hand.
Pre flop is fine, flop a check raise looks stronger than open shove. but since you have a gut shot with overs. more likely check call and see the turn then decide.

6max people play wider than Fr so post flop decisions get tougher.
if this was a double up then check call/check fold depending on bet size.

He is pushing with AK preflop. There is no post flop play. As I said when hand is not convertet it is hard to read :megusta:.

Now about the hand:

First in we can't fold AK here. I like your push. Our hand is just too good to fold it. There are no small stack, so easy push here.

Thanks for that feed back and sorry for not converting the hand. Not very IT savey so will have to get this right before I post my next hand. You will be glad to know I have gone onwards and upwards since. Still think that DoNs are a good way to build a starter bankroll for nitty players. (Not that nitty any more!)
