Actually, I try not to use disparaging comments about my opponents. I even avoid the "villain" and "hero" terms when I have the choice — but often the hand history generator uses them, and I'm too lazy to change them.

If we belittle our opponents, by calling them "fish" or "whales" it contributes to our sense of entitlement, so when one of these "idiots" wins a hand — or several — we might tilt.

We recognize that poker is a game where the long-term success is found by exploiting small edges. May the odds be ever in your favour.

Hi I'm a newbie have played poker many times however I'm looking to take it more seriously this time around. joining this forum is just one step in that direction. Any little tips/advice from experienced players is welcome.
