if its part of a group, its not self development, but that sounds like a good idea, i might join in a few weeks, when i don't need to focus on my actual poker play so much and need to work more on motivation and attitude.

Sure it is, it's interdependent self development... Which is actually way better than independent self development IMO.

Why would you isolate yourself from the rest of the world to work on yourself when you can have other people helping you out?

Hello, sent you a message to become friends, i'd be very interested in your self-development study group.

I would like to get in on this but since PS banned my community access I cant add anybody as a friend and exchange information like skype

all because of one silly post about another site a few months ago. I think a warning would have been enough as I was not aware of what I was doing, I explained this via a ticket but they would not change it back.

I guess what im saying is because of this I am unable to take part in a lot of forum activity like this which, as I have been playing, studying and keeping a blog here is halting my progress as a poker player and pokerstrategy forumer.

Nope, you can't (otherwise it would enable people to spam). I think you've cancelled your friend request because I remember receiving an e-mail with your request but when I checked my requests, yours wasn't there for some reason. I've sent you a request now, once you accept it you can send me a message ;).

I might also mention that Cristi started a concept of accountability groups within our group where we make smaller groups and hold each other accountable for our progress, which helps us improve... Feel free to join us!

Hey,

I've accepted all of your friend requests a couple of days ago already. I've also sent you the messages right now with my Skype :).

It's kind of a problem that when I accept the friend request, you don't get a notification or an e-mail, so you can't really know when I've accepted it :(.

In the future, please check your community profile friends list every couple of days or so, so thata you can message me... Another option is that I message all of the invitations that I accept :).
