A long time ago, I played some FIXED limit fullring (microlimits only).
For the past year, I've been learning how to play NL FR and I've been done ok.
How confusing would be trying to learn /play PLO, at the same time?
Or even worse, 6-max PLO?
Well they are so different games that they wouldn't probably interfere with each other. And the thing is that you will receive recordings of all the sessions, so even if you don't feel like going for PLO after the course, you have the material to get back to it later 
And is it easy to find poker sites to play PLO?
Ignition doesn't have any volume on their tables.
I guess the options are Stars and 888...
Is there any option for US residents?
There is, I have seen US players at certain poker rooms. Google probably helps you. At PokerStarts you have 24/7 small stakes PLO action.

I have a kind of final question: I'm aware that WR varies a lot, depending on a bunch of stuff, but PLO WR, for the average PLO player, is supposed to be greater than NL WR, for the average NL player, at the micros? Any guess by how much, on average?
I guess it must be greater because the variance is also greater, but I have no evidence to support that (I played only a couple of PLO hands in my whole life).

in general, due to nature of the betting structure, the whole stacks end up in the middle far more often than in holdem... so you don't have to worry that there are no money in omaha... hope that answers your question
