Hi,
we found out that Windows XP is no longer supported by our new libraries. Since using older libraries has disadvantages for developing the software and for the software quality, we will no longer support Windows XP for future updates.
However, version 1.18.2 is downloadable from now on again. You can use that with Windows XP, until you switch to a later operating system. After starting, you should cancel the update request, unless you use Windows Vista or later.
We hope, you can live with this decision. Other bugs will be fixed very soon.
All the best,
Eisflamme
Hi!
Still not working with 1.18.2 version on WinXP. But I can use that version what I downloaded first time.
Hi,
I have tried both the package version and the installer version on my Windows XP SP3 and it works. Have you denied the update request? What exactly is your error message?
All the best,
Eisflamme
Hi,
with today's update, some newly introduced bugs were fixed and some older ones, as well. Enjoy the improved experience.
If you have trouble with the updater, you should just download the new version again, this will neither affect your stored ranges nor your activation.
Have a nice Sunday!
Is possible to make a short tutorial how to import history hands in HM/PT ?
I receive one message: Hand History could not be parsed....
Thank you !

Hello, I have updated PokerRanger. Then I realized that new update is not for Windows XP. So I unistalled it and put back older version of PR. Now I get this message : "This application failed to start because it could not find or load the Qt platform plugin "windows"." Could you help me to fix it please?
Hi fortinv,
do you have a subfolder "platforms" with "qwindows.dll"?
All the best,
Eisflamme
Okay, what is the file size (in bytes) of this file? The new and old PokerRanger have differing ones, so you should make sure that the new one is replaced. The archive seems to contain the correct file and the installer should, too, but we will check this once again.
Have a nice day,
Eisflamme
This seems to be the problem. The installer has the new dll file instead of the old one.
To fix this, you should download the archive and move all the files from it to your PokerRanger folder. The link for the archive is:

If you need assistance for moving the content of the archive to the corresponding folder, you can add us at Skype: PokerRangerSupport

Hi buddhalassie,
it only works for Texas Hold'em since the main assumption is that players have exactly two cards and a board consists of 3-5 cards. There may be other poker styles where this assumption also matches but I am personally not aware of any.
Thank you very much and all the best!

Hi,
Bogdan has created a video giving some insights on how to use PokerRanger. You should definitely not miss it:

Hi,
I think it would be great if you implement weight system for hands as opposed to only being able to choose by suits. It's not very practical.
Hello Eisflamme,
I was really impressed from your software and I found it very useful, but in this website is written that this software is an analyze software for cash games and I consider myself as MTT player which barely plays cash games, can you honestley say if this software can be useful among MTT's players or it was built for cash games? Is there any irrelevant feature in the software for MTT's players?
Thanks.
Hi Rubke08,
PokerRanger certainly has a lot of features that are also important for MTT players. I would say, each feature is valuable for that.
The only thing is that MTT has also other aspects that are not important in cash game like ICM. Those features are not supported by PokerRanger (at the moment).
The best idea probably is to try out PokerRanger for yourself. You might also watch BogdanPS' vieo about PokerRanger that has been published lately:
