I don't think that works. If you spend it and the jackpot burst you need to wait untill the jackpot burst again in less than 12 hours and that isn't happen often.
No burstage yet.
currently 172640 -- I'll play at 21:00 tonight, whether it hits 175,000 or not.
Cheers,

Almst 180k already. Maybe he will burst soon, but first we have a server restart at 13.00 CET/07:00 ET.
Well I'm in, but very few others are -- the jackpot is increasing extremely slowly
So would someone who follows this thread please win the thing as soon as possible?
Thanks

I got like 850 coins, when is worth to deal?
Hi Chstal,
Of course no-one can say for sure when it will be won.
When someone wins the jackpot everyone who has played gets a share of 1/2 the jackpot.
In the past, the jackpot has been 218,000 on average since I've been keeping track.
I start buying in at 175,000
Once I start, I play once at 09:00 and 21:00 each day.
It costs 7 coin to play, but you quite often get some back -- my average net is 6 coins per play.
The payout varies, but my average is $4.38, and my average return per coin spent is 6 cents -- which is 6 times as much as anything else you can get with your StarsCoin.
with 850 coins, and assuming you also average 6 coins per play, you can play approximately 140 times.
I've never spent that much -- even when the jackpot reached 456,000 before it was won.
short answer:
1. You could start any time.
2. The jackpot is increasing slowly, which means that there are fewer people playing, which means that it may take longer for the jackpot to fall. You may want to wait until it reaches 200,000
If you choose option 1, I wish you the best of luck.
If you choose option 2, you lose nothing at all if the jackpot falls, and will win more per coin if it falls after you start playing.
Cheers,
VS
In the mean time the jackpot is already more than 222k. It could be a big jackpot this time.
It could indeed. The jackpot is increasing extremely slowly, which indicates not many players.
The average increase per minute in the current session is only 3.5 -- in the past it averaged nearly double that.
But it will fall eventually -- I just hope I have coins left...

12 hours is 720 minutes, so our numbers roughly agree -- about 3000 increase every 12 hours
This is low compared to the past -- since I've been keeping track, the average 12 hour increase is over 4K
When I started keeping track in Oct 2017, the average 12hr increase was nearly 8K

That's a decent decrease. I expect most people invest the coins differently or do the same what we do with playing only once per 12 hours.
Of course, there are now significantly fewer Starscoins in circulation because the lowest level chests now tend to award no coins at all (but $0.50 spin tickets instead).
(Fortunately, higher levels chests do award coins, so I'll still have the opportunity to buy an RSA token when I move up and security becomes more important.)

Not sure if that's correct, I believe the content of those chests is based on the games you're playing yourself, so they might be biased towards spin tickets in your case if you're playing spin&go's.
Cash game players might be more likely to receive bonuses, insta-cash or regular StarsCoins instead. But I'm not really sure how this works either.

Its correct, you are getting UFC ticket for blue chest. I cleared today 250$ (10 blue chests) for 10x0,5 tickets.
I have received pretty much nothing in my chests since the changeover.
I don't want spin tickets -- I never ever play 'em unless I get a ticket.
Other than the deal, I have no use for starscoin either.
The weekly freerolls used to be good for a buck or two a week, but they're just satellites now, and only hold'em so pretty much useless.
So for me, Stars rakeback == 0
I only play there for the draw games.
I've given them all the feedback they could ask for, but they tell me that players like the random rewards -- not this player.
