That's interesting. Off course I think in euro's, but I don't think the difference in dollars is so big.
Off course in the major Dutch cities the house prizes are huge as well if you compare it with the towns and smaller cities.

Pretty crazy develepment with such a high jackpot. Hopefully you even win the jackpot. That would be really the cherry on the cake.

Yeah, it would indeed.
Actually though, it has been quite a while since I even got better than a pair.

Tomorrow I am off to Italy for a week long holiday. Anyone knows how/if I can still play the deal when I am away? I have a feeling the jackpot will pop when I am not able to play :(

If PokerStars is allowed in Italy, then you should be able to play.
In your situation, though, I would ask PokerStars support directly.

Another thing you could do — that is 100% legal — is to use remote-control software such as Teamviewer (there are others, but that is what I use) to remotely control your home computer from a tablet or laptop.

I do hope it drops before soon!

A spin was reported at 12:34 GMT — no details, but the jackpot is still intact

Not sure it can. You need to play on Pokerstars.it in Italy and it was always a seperate playerspool.

I can confirm that whilst in Italy you can still play on the EU account and also at the Deal. No access to the Casino though (probably due to Italian legislation)

That's interesting. Not sure you can play poker than as well. I was in Denmark a few weeks and the situation was the same when I was back in my home country the Netherlands. I couldn't play anything.

Are there live venues where you can play in the Netherlands?
I find it hard to imagine why the government would care about people playing online poker, unless casino operators bent the ears of the politicians and whined about lost revenue.

You can play poker and other gambling games at Holland Casino, but I'm not really a live player.
Most of the time you start with €2/€2. Than is the minimum buy-inn €50 and max €400 the last time I visited a casino 3 years ago for fun. Offcourse playing with the minimum buy-inn is really tough.

Here the minimum live cash games are $2/$4
I'm told that there is no maximum buy-in.
I played live cash at those stakes only once. I was there for 3 hours, and won almost enough to play for dinner and parking.

This Will Help

At a nominal value of $0.01 per StarsCoin, I have already paid $21.68 in coins since I started.

I may even end up in profit!

Wow, amazing! :f_eek: I think a full house was the best I ever got when I was still able to play.

Certainly my best ever.
I have had a full house at least once I remember a $5 payout.
I don't recall any flushes — that doesn't mean I haven't had any, I just don't recall.

This is my reward frequency table from this cycle:
($ values converted to starscoin at the rate of $0.01 / coin)
        Hand  Frequency  Payout    Net
     Nothing        115       0      0
    Ace-High         99       1     99
      1 pair        207       2    414
      2 pair         26       7    182
 3 of a kind         10      25    250
    Straight          2      50    100
       Flush          0      $1      0
  Full House          0      $5      0
       Quads          1     $30  3,000
   Str Flush          0    $250      0
       Royal          0              0
       Total        460          4,045
