Hello maythany,

Good push. We got lots of fold equity. Also even if we called we got plenty of hand equity. Often villain is going to limp/call us with worse hand. With our stack the best choice is to push.

Best regards,

Hello,

I didn't push here lol. I'm in the BB with a8o, BTN limps and SB pushes.

Hello,

My bad, I thought you were on SB _mad:.

SB got very wide pushing range here. Not us wide if he was first in but still preaty wide. Without notes that SB is tight I would over shove here also with wide range. Something like 25% of the hands seems fine.
We should definitely over shove with A8o

Best regards,
Antoan

Hey,
On SB the shove with that stack is nobrainer shove, i agree with parodiq.
But seems like u are in BB not in sb. (judges make mistakes too).
It is really BU dependant. If he is aggro player, who has raised a lot and now limps. Then it seems like a trap and i would just fold, cause we dont want to end up as a bubble boy with so big 2nd stack. If BU range is wide for limping and he might do it sometimes with nuts. In this case call might be the best idea, cause it looks strong and BU will push over just the nuts and fold weak hands. Lets say BU is really bad and makes a lot of mistakes with limp/calling too wide i would just give it up.

I just checked this on icmizer and you are correct that this is a +EV shove over against the button's limping range.
