At higher stakes I also want to play with a 300 BI BRM, but not before $7 games, and 200 BI's at $3,5. I think that should be enough.
Yesterday was just a crazy busy day so I din't get to play at all, but I managed to analyze some hands. But in this month so far I already have had very good volume, in the first two days I played around 130 sng's, now my number is 161 and up $28,24, so I just need a bit more before I feel I'm rolled for $1,5 games.
Today I have the days of with no other plans than playing poker, just got 12 hours of sleep, so now I'm just gonna grab some breakfast and basically just start playing. Since I'm gonna play for many hours today I also plan to play some MTT's I'm basically just planing to play any NLHE MTT's, with around $1 BI, and try to sat into some HOT events.
That all for me right now, I expect to write a new update tonight with results and graphs for the month so far.
I decided to cut a bit down on the updates since I have been pretty busy the last week, and I prioritized playing and studying over updating my blog, but I hope to update a few times a week for the future.
Since my last update my results haven't been quite as good as I had expected, but thats mainly because tuesday I took a shot at $1,5 45 man's and it went very bad, I played 50 SNG's and lost about 20 BI's, I do think I was running really bad, but still I don't think I was prepared enough.
So since my last shot at $1,5 SNG's I have been looking at what I could do better and since I think there are almost more weak players at $1,5 than 50c I have been watching some videos on how to exploit them I also look into something about bet sizing and push ranges so I feel prepared for an other shot tonight hopefully with more success this time.
Current Bankroll: $231,94
Graph for the month so far:

I have been taking a break from poker for about 1,5 month, the main reason for that is that I have had some personal stuff that needed more attention, also I weren't very motivated to play and study for hours everyday.
Now I have had a break and I want to get back into poker and 45man MTTSNG's. For that I have made a $25 deposit at Stars and I'm going to be playing the $0,5 games, I know it's a bit underrolled, but the games are very soft and if I should happen to go broke it's not the end of the world for me.
Yesterday I played a session and I felt a little rusty in the beginning, but overall I think I played okay, I ended up losing about 5,5 BI's but I also ran pretty bad, so I will come back.
I want to set weekly goals for myself to keep me motivated. For this week I just want to get my game back by watching some videos and get some volume.
Goals:
- Play 350 sng's
- Review w/ Holdemresources and ICMIZER for 30 min after each session
- Watch one video every day

I believe it's about time for an update on my blog. The truth is I haven't really been playing as much this month as I wanted to, but the last coupple days i've been sick and haven't felt like playing at all, but I start feeling better and I expect being back at stars tomorrow. So far the results have been decent, I have played 196 sng's with a profit of $52,78 which i a 53% ROI, which is acceptable imo. The $0,50 aren't really that interesting to play or share about, the game is really straight forward ABC poker, which also makes it very easy to beat.
I still hope that if I can get in a decent amount of volume and maybe a lockdown I will be playing $1,50's by the 14th, and hopefully at least not give up on keeping my silverstar on stars without a fight.
Current Bankroll: $102,78
Looks like a beautiful graph

I wish! ♦
I haven't exactly had the best start on my bankroll challenge. My starting BR on $25 is now down to $17,20, but I'm still going to continue playing $0,50 games.
So far I have been running really bad, but hopefully my luck will change and I can start winning.
I have been re-watching some YugiohPro videos, to get my game back to what it was before I stopped play this format. I feel like I have been able to dust most of the rust off and that I'm playing okay, but I'm still unsure about a lot of spots, so I have posted some hands and I hope the answers to them will help me think in the right direction.
Yesterday I had a very good post game session when I was viewing a lot of spots in Holdemresources and ICMIZER, and I really felt like I learned a lot.

good luck man variance at the 45man's is a bitch.
TYTY. The variance can indeed be a bitch sometimes ♦ But because they are so soft it should be possible to control it a bit!
Added to favorites.
Im doing the exact same thing. Building my bankroll by playing 45man and 90man 0.50$ and 1$
What i can tell you is that in over 2000 tournaments of 45 man there have been times where i lost something like 30 games in a row... so you have been warned. Variance is a bitch.
Good luck with your challenge and keep strong
Yesterday I watched a video by YugiohPro and the main thing I took to me was that the best way of chipping up - besides coolering people
- is to steal whenever the chance is there. I have also learned a lot about FT play in his videos, and I think I have some ideas about how to get deep at final tables.
Yesterday I also ran better than up until now, so I made a small profit which always is nice. I still have some things to work on but I think my game is getting better and I should be able to beat my current level by now, but that doesn't mean I shouldn't keep improving.

I'm going to watch another video by YugiohPro now, and hopefully run like yesterday when the time comes to starting my session!
I also see that there are still coaching with Collin Moshman every wednesday, so I'm looking forward to attending at that tomorrow.

It's at another site, so I can't link in here, but you should be able to find them by yourself.
I had another losing day yesterday. I did run pretty bad in certain spots, but I just remembered that I'm playing way better when I'm just opening 12-18 tables and then play until they are all done before opening new, I will try that for todays session and see if that is still the case.

Yesterday I decided to purchase a month membership for ICMIZER, it costs $15 which is a lot for a micro grinder, but it is worth every cent. You can load SNG's and analyze every pre-flop decision, it's also easy to adjust opponents calling range so you learn to adjust to opponents as well. I will recommend people to check it out HERE
Something I learned yesterday from analyzing with ICMIZER is that I can shove way lighter vs. limpers and that I have to push a bit wider overall, especially with more pairs.
Tonight I plan on attending to Collin Moshmans live coaching. Yesterday I was looking at Acoimbra's Youtube Page and I remembered that he had made some $0,50 45man and 90man videos, I will also try to watch one of those and see if I can use anything from them.
I'm in London right now, so I'm having a bit trouble playing online since I have to play on the danish poker client until I can prove I live in England which I haven't been able to so far. I moved over here to work, but just got an job offer in Dublin and right now I'm just waiting on getting the start date, so gonna move to Ireland soon.
Pokerwise as said I haven't played much, but when I have it have been zoom and I plan on building my roll by playing zoom.
I don't plan on keeping this blog up, I might start a new blog where I will try to write about my thoughts on whats going on in the poker world, the different levels I work my way through and how I will recommend other to attack them, strategies I try to get into my game, concepts, books and videos I will recommend for players around my level. And then keep my goals and progress in a thread in the "successes and challenges" forum.
