Try to keep your head up though. Shit like this happens, you just have to get through it. Maybe that's easier said than done, but it's true! Try to just keep playing your game if it's good, and results will come eventually, even move down if necessary. Or maybe take a break (even if it's just one day) from poker if it ends up affecting your game.

But then again your post makes sense in terms of logic, as variance (or even EV) doesn't have memory, therefore if you run above EV you should not expect it to even out as most say.

Your preflop call is already bad. Either 3bet or fold especially in BB vs SB range. Don't have motivation to play my A game, so was just randomly donking.
hand seems super standard to me except for river.
as sb i would consider c/evaluate river, try to catch bb turning some hands into a bluff as his value betting range should likely be very narrow, like A:s and K:s only. nh by bb

Calling A8o bvb is much better than either 3betting or folding imo. Hand is way too good to fold IP vs wide sb range, too good to turn into a bluff by 3betting and not strong enough to 3b for value.
Guys quick announcement.
I will return to blogging once I sort out my mindset problems and fix some general leaks in my game. I haven't been playing much lately. I started some data mining in HM2 in order to spot my leaks and villain common tendencies in certain spots for easier decision making when multitabling. This is bringing back my motivation. However I don't want to rush it either, I want to pick up steady pace and also I've got quite a lot to do in Uni. So time is kinda limited at the moment.

the biggest mistakes i see u have in first place is multitabling. forget about it if u want to become better and really work on your game. 2 tabling zoom is more than enough to get plenty of action and spots which need your full atention! mark every hand u dont feel comfotable with and just post it on the forum and discuss!
and from my experience- motivation does not come from thin air, it comes after you have put in some work and then see some results coming back your way!

It is really a matter of preference. I prefer more than two tables. I sometimes 3-table or 4-table depending on how I feel. I usually 2 table when moving up limits just to get a grasp of the new level. I have enough time to think about a hand even when 4-tabling, I don't feel stressed out or pressured by the time bank. If I play more than 2 tables then I am in the zone. If I play 2 tables or 1, I level my self because of boredom, which causes drops in motivation. I play 2 tables of NL25 for too long which just damaged my game.
Not at all. Facts speak for them self. When I 2 table I perform worse than 3 tabling and more. Can't be just be positive variance over 500k hands, and then bad variance over 150k hands when 2 tabling?
