I've been taking a squint at the old database today rather than play and found a few interesting things, mainly the biggest leak seems to be I keep losing. Hmmm...
I also came up with a the outline of a 'Plan of Longevity' for my 'career', so to speak, since my bankroll is irreplaceable.
Instead of having everything in situ, keep some in Neteller or Skrill and use say 15-20BI (not sure exactly yet) to play. From a winning week/month whatever, ring-fence X% to aforementioned banking sites and the rest builds the roll. There will also be those FPPs and VPPs which, if I can leave them alone, would effectively act as the ring-fenced money, thus leaving the active bankroll to build up without interference.
Since I am gold status and the VPP bonus is up to $50, this is not an insignificant amount to me, albeit it takes a while at nl10 to clear it, but I get until the end of the year, so it's not like it's a time constrained bonus clearance.
Well, just my two brain cells clunking together making some noise. If anyone has any thoughts on it please feel free to enlighten me; being in the dark sucks sox, I'm a pilchard, not a mushroom.
In my experience if you a winning player then all these VIP and bonus is just that "bonus". If you a losing player then these things are just consolation.

Your bankroll strategy seem OK. It will force you to protect your stack. I also like to keep the min in my poker accounts.
I completely agree about bonus chasing, it's quite difficult at micros when I get a $5 slice of a deposit bonus every gazillion hands!
So there I was, faffing about with PT4 reports and I came up with this little gem of information for April:

So it seems I paid more rake in one month than my current bankroll ffs!
It would also appear quite normal to drop or pick up 4 or 5 BI in a session, but that's based solely on my one real month of zoom 6 max nofoldem holdem.
So from the depths of $68 to the giddy heights of $495 in quite a short (few weeks) time; maybe I'll get back to nl25 next month after all. That would be nice.
I'll also start May by taking my own advice about bankroll management. It should help with my mindset as well, not that I get all tilty and spew it off, a few bad sessions can do that easy peasy by themselves, it's just me trying to be more organised.

Remainder into Moneybookers
Profit split initially (as an experiment) 70% for br building into Moneybookers and 30% into Neteller as the backup br.

Protecting against getting my account blocked and not having any cash to play. I also don't use a stoploss since even I know variance doesn't care if I take a break or not, so I can lose a lot in a session if it goes tits up (see giraffe above) but if I think my game is good (for my ability) I stay.
So I keep 1/2 aside for emergencies for reloading; well, actually I keep some aside for this week!
I'm also hoping to build a second bankroll just quietly growing in the background, again in case of disaster. I've had disasters before and will again, so it's like a comfort blanket.
So I was right, this zoom nl5 is really swingy for me at least. I play so tight I can't fart and still it goes multiway no matter the sizing position or whatever. Oh and the app guys still never fold.

The blind structure is really steep, with antes from off, and only 1200 chips to start.
There is one that starts at 07:00 my time, and I would play that on my tablet on the bus.
There is a lot of people who play bingo instead of poker, and while it seems that they do well, that is only one game. I'm sure that they can't do that successfully often.
Ye they are fun when bored or the cash game has gone tit up yet again.

Right, so I got 80 bucks and haven't played a lot last few days. I think maybe it gets me down to have so little again. Although to be fair at my lowest I had 12.85 I think it was; it tough to read it clearly through the tears.
I forgot I have a $10 and a $50 VPP things and 3K+ fpps I can cash which would obviously strengthen the old br a bit, but I really want to keep those as a disaster fund in case of brokeness. Not sure what to do but my ego says I can rebuild without all that coz I rocks, init!

So here I am trying to blog on my plasma tv and everything is a bit, well, red and a bit fuzzy - except red, which looks like it's greyed out and fuzzy. I've tried a few things but it wont let me calibrate the colours, so not sure what's going on there. The rpoblem ther eis that when I play and get dealt two hearts it's tough to mke them out. Any help much appreciated but the sound rocks!
