hi,

I had a very funny hand. 888 small field tourney, stupid pay-out structure.
First 6 places is paid, from 6: 75$ up to 1.: 395$

There are 3 players on the other table:
BU: 7bb
SB: 32bb
BB: 16bb

The hand:
888 Poker - $23+$2|400/800 Ante 80 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 4 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

BTN: 6,624
SB: 19,454
Hero (BB): 2,639
CO: 18,102

4 players post ante of 80, SB posts SB 400, Hero posts BB 800

Pre Flop: (pot: 1,520) Hero has 2♠ K♠

fold, fold, SB raises to 1,600,
on the other table: BU folded, 32bb SB pushed, BB is waiting. I have less time-bank, that's why I choosed just calling

Hero calls 800

Flop: (3,520, 2 players) K♣ 4♣ 7♥
SB bets 1,760,
on the other table: BB finally called with TTvAKo, Board: Axxxx, BB out.

Hero has 959 chips left. Call or fold? :):)

Hi, onetwo78,
Disclaimer: I am NOT a coach!

Just focusing on this table for a moment:
You are BB, so you post 800 chips.
This leaves you 1839

So "just calling" puts almost half your chips at risk.
This is the bubble?
I think push or fold are the only two options, and this is the weakest K you can have.

I'm really curious to see what the judge thinks...

hi

yes it is bubble, if I lost, I would win nothing, If I fold I would win at least 75$

Hi,

Consider you only have 3bb then I would just go with K2s pre-flop. Since you flop top pair it is easy all-in and likely if you hadn´t flop top pair I would still call my last 1bb with K high.
You´re going to be all-in in 3 hands and it is unlikely that someone is busting before you, so I would rather take my double up with K2s than wait better spot

best regards,

Yes, usually go ai pre with K2s, but here i was watching the other table. Firstly i have just seen that SB went ai and BB was waiting for me. I had less time, that's why just called. After that BB also went ai, and he lost with TTvsAK. Now i am with K3 on Kxx flop. If i win, i have 75$ and 7 bbs. If i lost, I wont win anything.

Hi all,

I don't think that's how hand for hand works. This would need doublechecking but I think that one of two things happens:

guy who busts first gets KO'd.
both people who bust chop the last prize payout.

I don't think it takes into account stacksizes if people are on different tables.

Of course, this could be different on different sites. I think that in both my cases we have a clear call.

But if the rules are that you get nothing if you lose, then a fold is good yes.

Just checked on Pokerstars it's definitely done on chipstacks, if both are on simultaneous hands. On 888 well... they do things differently there...
