I just bad at poker and don't get it. Why 35%? How it depends on villian's steal range and where i can read/see more about this?

I had missed this video.

I am guessing that in BB defending that wide is profitable because you are in position, and can take the hand away post flop fairly often.

BvB you can defend by just flatting then there is a wide range of things you can do post-flop to take the hand back.

I'm really bad at this, though.
