Why do you skip the flop cbet?

If your plan is to call on the flop, you may as well just bet yourself. Otherwise your slop playing a fairly weak hand OOP, which doesnt make a tonne of sense to me.

Also im fairly convinced that you're beat by the turn.

I can maybe agree with skipping the cbet because we are OOP. Hero opens from UTG so villains range is quite tight. If we cbet there, we narrow his range too much and isolate ourselves vs Kx?

We can get calls from 77-TT, JsTs, 98, 87...

Yea but if we check we might get lighter calls later. We don't really mind giving free cards to his range. I think that should be pretty much his whole range OTF because other hands would probably 3bet as value or as bluff? If we bet we can bet very small because I think our range is stronger than his on this board.
Or am I wrong?

I checked this with Snowie. It thinks perfect option is to play 50/50 with cbetting 1/4pot and checking. If we choose bigger bet size, then EV of checking is higher.
