Hi everyone.

If you'd check my account, you'd see I registered and was semi-active many years ago. I was spending most my time learning NL SSS (when it was a thing) and some micro BSS as well as FL. I started losing but started to see a positive change in my bankroll and bounce between limits feeling defeated as I couldn't improve my game, eventually losing interest in stopping poker completely.

I've got poker on the mind again and have been looking to play SNG or MTT to change it up however it seems like both of these formats are almost impossible to get in to. Looking at the poker rooms I see nearly all micro SNGs are satellites for bigger tournaments. Is this the only way to build a bankroll in SNGs; Win satellites to play in other tournaments? Microstake MTTs are so time sensitive and rare how does anyone get any experience?

Being Australian, a lot of the major rooms have shutdown in my country. There' no 888 or partypoker anymore. I have a small $45 bankroll on pokerstars which I'll be using. I'm open to looking at other rooms if there's benefits there.

Hey armitageshanks,

Welcome back :welcome:

As a fellow Australian, I can vouch for how difficult it is to find a trustworthy room that knowingly ignores our recently introduced legislation.

This will be disappointing to hear, but PokerStars has also withdrawn from the Australian market.

You should also get yourself added to our Member map. You never know, the nearest PokerStrategist may live right next door. :f_p:

I can recommend you check out Collin's Sit 'N Go Crushers Academy for all your SnG strategy and advice. :f_thumbsup:

Have fun :gl:

Of the poker rooms available for Australian players, what's the one with more weak players? Ideally, I ask this for cash game, but I am also interested to hear about options for sit n go.

Hey JonhyRico,

The best way to find this info would be to check the the following threads at 2+2:

TAKE ACTION: Need urgent help to keep Australian online poker. Deadline 21 July #AusFight4Poker to find out about the fight to have online poker legalised and regulated.

Options for Australian Players for options and advice on poker rooms.

Regards

Laz
