Hi tnfc3030,
Nice try!

You did you had to do.
I'm guessing He had an overpair -- maybe trip 4s.

I can't see any other line that would do better other than (maybe) a small raise on the turn -- but that's no guarantee either.

Peace,
VS

In my mind would be better a small re-raise on the river to induce a bluff n villain would call or 3bet because you gave him odds to 5-1 to call in this spot.

The best way to extract value is to shove pre-flop. Limping with an 11bb stack with JJ is -ev on long run. Especially in a fishy tournament like this. There is no reason to limp first in in the first place.

I didn't think that push preflop would be better, I totally agreed with you sdk1987!

for sure a push preflop or even a mraise to induce a push if villain is "maniac" as you have a read on him.
I'm really not a big fan of limping this so early as it can get a bit crowded especially in the 0.10$'s. Overcards, midpairs can give you tough decision gates postflop.

as played the flop makes sense, I would try to push a small raise on the turn. But your line is fine too as most probably the river bet is usually a bit bigger on his side if he wants to "buy" the pot.
as played I would again miny raise (2.25 -3 x) the river to make him call us to keep us legit. pushing there seems powerfull and only can be called by very good hands. He may even tilt and try to push himself .... :f_drink: :f_drink: :f_drink:
