Lmao because you think Will Tipton would advocate 3betting that combo and not calling it every day ? Read again dude. Or even better read something less complicated than that book which is way too hard and theoretical to be of any use to a microstakes player. Why a book about HU (that even some HU pros gave up on reading) whereas you are playing SH anyway ?

About tournaments I'm not sure I understand or even agree with the weird things you seem to say but anyway for the true part of it I don't see why that wouldn't be also true for CG so it's still not the point.

.

I want information about Hu thinking process, so I would try to play sngHu, as second play.

And also this book explain the postflop so I am not worried about postflop, contrary it shows very well poker not only hu, but exactly the nature of poker!! I like it

Many tons of books can't explain poker like this book, it's good

I told you I dislike J8, if he's got TJ i prefered it lol

Matthew Janda's books are really great to understand the foundations of poker, they kind of are for SH what Tipton's are for HU.
Bill Chen's maths book is also solid of course and there are some more that are decents like Thomas Bakker's analytical one.
Just so you see there is not only Tipton fortunately ^^

Disliking a hand isn't an argument. This is becoming ridiculous.
Nearly as ridiculous as your old "raising for info" idea. Come on. How can you pretend to go from the most up to date GTO style to the oldest mistake meme ?

Oh my god guys :f_biggrin:
J8o is a call here and period.

We must defend wide against 2.5bb SB open, and I really mean wide. It is like over 50% range wide I would say.

It is ok to play that hand as a call and see the flop in position. We are offered a nice price too. Assuming that villain is not folding too much vs 3bets, then I see no point in 3betting. And if he is folding horribly too much vs 3bets we probably would have better hands to 3bet with.

if a regular repair that is 3bet with rubbish hands offsuited, it will start to explore you and will only start stealing with hands that hold up with a 3bet ... and when that happens you start to lose a lot of money.

About those Jandas books, they are both fine but the second one is more practical and easy to understand I would say. The first one has a lot of good theory stuff but can be a bit heavy to read.

Yeah if you don't like Bill Chen the first Janda might not be for you but then again I'd put up closer to the Tipton and weirdly you seem to enjoy the Tipton so hard to tell =)

What are those stats you are talking about and what does it come to do here ? ?(

You can defend pretty wide vs SB because you have position.
Call flop is ok. Turn you should raise most of the times.
Calling turn, not much to do OTR. Call again seems fine.
