Guys today bad luck is hitting me in wired ways. After struggling to get my money on people s poker , I received a message from the Italian deposit and withdraw office asking me to send them a picture of my credit card to verify my transparency. This is the very first time that someone s asking for a picture of my credit card, especially after receiving money without any objection. What I am wondering and I D like to ask u is : is this legal?

Identity checks are normal.
In the past I have send photos of my driver's license and passport, and copies of utility bills to verify I am who I say I am and live where I say I live.
Did you make the deposit with the card?
I would just come right out and say, "I'm not comfortable with giving you a photo of my card -- what other alternate documentation would you accept"
Alternatively, you could notify your bank, and tell them that you would like them to withhold authorization for any transaction made without the card present for 30 days.
If any attempt is made to use the card, then you can ask the bank for a replacement.
Let us know how it works out...
