I think you should bet the turn to get value. Villain can call with Tx and some of the weaker draws that were trying to get to the river for cheap. Although I think AT and KT are not that likely after the check. Making it 3/4pot seems reasonable. Lets see what the experienced players have to say.

I'm a big fan of turn aggression -- or aggression any time, any place :coolface:

Opponent CBet hoping for a fold, but didn't get it.
I would therefore bet the turn when UTG checks -- especially since the board pairs.

You have to fold to any substantial x/r though -- that's the tough part

3-bet pre at this spot with 99+, you do not want to value town yourself vs QQ+ on low number boards.

As played yes bet turn then evaluate river

I play on GGpoker even though it says Pokerstars. None of my hand histories will have villain stats.

This! You want to get value from 88, 99, flushdraws A♥X:heart:, and the occasional 55. As for the sizing I would bet around 1/3 pot.

3bet only due to high rake. calling JJ is preflop is no mistake though. as played really any option (expect folding) has the same EV.

you could R, X, B or C, B, B or C, X, B. w any of those lines you do get value from different parts of villains range.
the only important thing is to plan it ahead of time and to stick to that concept.

this! is not so easy. you will probably only get one street of value from 88, 99 anyway. this is 2 NL. so most regs will not split their FDs, they will most likely bet them all, leaving them w no FD in their checking range. for the most part you will get folds, as those players will not protect the checking range.

so what betting achieves is protecting vs AK (6 outs) or A2 (3 outs) and collecting the pot w a very high frequency.

checking back will trigger some bluffs though. we have established that villain has no flushes in this line (and most of the population has no flush when checking back either.) so they will start bluffing on blank rivers and on flush completing rivers.
