PokerStars, Hold'em No Limit - $0.01/$0.02 - 6 players
Hand delivered by Upswing Poker

UTG (Hero): $2.07 (104 bb)
MP: $1.56 (78 bb)
CO: $1.88 (94 bb)
BU: $2.27 (114 bb)
SB: $8.46 (423 bb)
BB: $2.82 (141 bb)

Pre-Flop: ($0.03) Hero is UTG with Q K
Hero raises to $0.06, 3 players fold, SB 3-bets to $0.24, 1 fold, Hero calls $0.18

Flop: ($0.50) Q 3 T (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $0.36, SB calls $0.36

Turn: ($1.22) Q (2 players)
SB bets $0.59, Hero calls $0.59

River: ($2.40) J (2 players)
SB bets $1.74, Hero calls $0.88 (all-in)

SB wins $4.01

Preflop is standard.
Flop: The villain doesn't c-bet so I go for protection on a quite draw heavy board and to get some value from my TP decent kicker. I think the villain should c-bet his entire range.
Turn: His donk on the turn surprises me and I just call, should I raise him?
River: His previous play tells me he doesn't have AK so I called.
Can I fold the river? What do I actually beat after his strong bet? only AA and KK

If I put this hand to Equilab and give him a range even with AK so his range is JJ+, Aqs+, Aqo+
my hand has 32% equity and pot odds are 21% so according to math, my call is correct.
Not sure if my thought process is right.

Really weird line of villain, but I don't think I can fold the river with the K blocker for the straight.

Cheers,

If anyone is curious what the villain had

Spoiler

Showdown:
SB shows J J (a full house, Jacks full of Queens)
(Equity - Pre-Flop: 54%, Flop: 11%, Turn: 5%, River: 100%)

SB wins $4.01

I am shoving OTT on his donk. This way you get called by worse a lot even ATs. As played I am 50:50 and probably doing sometimes this and sometimes that. Depends on villain.

You definitely giving him too funneled range there. TT, QTs, QJs is there quite often. More often than KK or AA which is usually leading OTF.

the only 2 hands he could donk IMO on turn would be AQ and AKs.. I like IHuarr Jam on turn..

as for river just unlucky

Keep grinding

Why overcall preflop? nl2 is not known for wide 3bet ranges and with those sizings you dont even need to call this wide to prevent any exploitation.
