slowly but surely climbing up - if you increase your Bankroll by 1% every week, that will end up pretty nicely already by the end of the year!
GL in the challenge!

Thanks a lot. I am not completely sure if this is sarcasm or not. π
The year has 19 more weeks, and with a BR of $201.94 and an increase by 1% every week, I will end up with $243.97 by the end of the year.
$201.94 * (1.01 ^ 19) = $243.97
Given that I currently play on NL10 mainly, that's not the best winrate, depending on how much volume I am able to put in of course. Then again, with the insane rake in Germany, I can be happy if I have a positive winrate after all.
My main goal is to improve and have fun.

BR Challenge Update
Week: 14 (16 Aug 21 - 22 Aug 21)
Hands played: 2916
Limits: NL10/NL2/Micro SNGs/Micro Spin & Gos
Profit: $6.35
BR: $208.29
Progress: 11.44%
There's been a lot going on besides Poker. Haven't really played seriously the past week(s). Mostly NL2 for Leaderbaord, $0.50-$1 SNGs and Spin & Gos.
In the coming days, I hope to be able to put some NL10 volume in.
However, I set up a recurring reminder in my calendar on every 1st and 3rd Monday of each month to write a blog post for this blog in order to meet the requirements for the BR challenge. Looking forward to that. I think it will be beneficial and valuable to others and to myself to share some thoughts and spark some hopefully interesting discussions.

Be careful with that one, mate. In the Sign Up thread they said twice a month, but in the article they said you should update your blog once a week.

Nice catch.
I've asked for clarification.
Until then once a week updates would be wise...
Thanks, @LahtiPelican and @VorpalF2F, for the notice.
I don't have the feeling that PokerStrategy will be overly pedantic about this.
Anyway, I do this for myself and I won't get stressed out over some inconsistent rules.
Ho monteCarlol - this is a promotion FOR and WITH the users, we will for sure not use any sanctions if someone does not comply with the guidelines. It is a fun promo - and like Barry Carter mentioned in the news: you can only improve when you measure your progress.
For the offiical report, we will issue a news and draw prizes twice per months, so that should be the minimum update criteria to qualify for the raffle.
In regards to my "sarcasm" - nope,it was not really. Maybe I counted with a year as 53 weeks. It would be a 69% increase, but ...you are right, given the amounts that would not make you retire. Obviously once amounts are bigger, such small percentage increases become more meaningful. My apologies if it did sound like trolling, I always make sure to find the most positive aspects of our blogs & promotions!

Thanks man, appreciate your response and your engagement for the challenge.
tHiS hAs To StOp!!11
It's truly unbelievable how they rip people off with these so called "GTO" trainers.
Today, I wasted another two hours of my life playing vs. the simulator from GTO Wizard. I'm playing really, really well right now. My EV errors are tiny. But the better I play, the colder the deck gets, it seems. Coincidence???
When I get KK, of course, I run into AA. I keep running into oversets or similar literally all the time, see this hand for example:

Isn't it obvious how, on the river, the flush is completed just for me to put my chips in?
It happens over and over and over again. I can't take it anymore. And yes, of course I have my leaks, and there is variance and so on, but this is ridiculous. You wouldn't believe it if you hadn't seen it with your own eyes. lol
So the last hand today was this:

A 2-outer, FFS!
After that, I completely lost it. I even took a piece of paper off my desk, crumpled it up, and threw against the wall!!
This has to stop, I can't go on like this. The way people are being deceived (I am sure these GTO trainers are rigged) is unethical and extremely harmful.
Please help me, I don't know what to do anymore!!!11
Disclaimer:
This post is supposed to be satire. I try to never complain about results, even though it is hard for me not to be results oriented and feel the urge to complain sometimes. Tilting over results when you play vs a simulator is absolutely absurd. I find the mindset when you play vs a GTO trainer and also when you analyze hands ideal. If one could get into the same mindset while actually playing, that would be really desirable. And I am working on it.
Thats bad and variance
Keep it up, so good work, because you got it in good.
More you can`t do.
So play your A-game and results will come from alone....
All the best for you!

You are playing against a GTO simulator?
I'm not understanding maybe.
If that is true, and you're tilting against a simulator, perhaps that is the best training.
If you can master your mental state against a trainer, you can take that to the table.

Just think -- better that than your laptop!

I updated the post a bit and I hope it is more clear now, what I was trying to say?
