HARRIER WHAT ON EARTH IS THIS?
Should that be a "Zigeuner-Schnitzel" (= "gipsy schnitzel", that´s really the name of it!)? Schnitzel with breading and some tomatoe-cream sauce over it?
BANHAUSER!!!!!

BANHAUSER!!!!!
Thanksgiving dinner was a supreme success -- we had a couple of add-ins so 14 of us.
The table wouldn't seat all of us, so we asked for volunteers to eat in the living room, and all the teens but one jumped at the chance.
There was so much that no-one had room for pie!
I'm so thankful that we could eat in peace surrounded the one we love.
Sandwich Break
Prim brought me a nice lamb sausage from her last vacation at the North Sea.
Of course I planned to make some sandwiches with it, but trying to use up the whole sausage in one go probably wasn't too wise... ![]()
I still managed to do it somehow with those little sandwiches here:

Contains mayonnaise and sliced cheese with some chili in it. And the lamb sausage, of course. Lots of it.

Well, I say thanks for the lamb sausage!
I had one of those Groundhog Day moments this morning.
Usually, one of the first things I do after waking up is to turn on my USB-radio to listen to a news podcast that I downloaded the day before. I heard them talk about a topic I heard yesterday already, and figured that there must have been new developments on that story, and that it's still on people's minds. Then I heard them talk about upcoming topics, and thought that they all sounded awfully familiar.
And then it dawned on me that even though I had downloaded the latest podcast, I must have forgotten to transfer it to my USB-radio. ![]()
Would have been even better if that podcast had also contained songs to be played, like this one, maybe:
🤣:mdr:
Well played!
from: Environment Canada "Special Weather Statement" for our area.
A long episode of rain, at times heavy, is expected.
Uhh, Hello people!
That long episode is called "October to March" [1]
In that time period it will rain more than it won't and has every year I've been alive.
I would be surprised if they predicted snow, or extreme heat, but rain I expect, rain I prepare for.
[1] See: https://vancouver.weatherstats.ca/charts/count_rain-monthly.html
One year when I was a teenager it reportedly rained continuously for 40 days and 40 nights. Fortunately, no arks were needed
I heard this report on the radio, and didn't think much of it, and I haven't been able to verify it.
We still have not turned our furnace on this year, and the house interior temperature remains at about 17C
In the summer time, at this temperature I'm in shorts and a T-Shirt.
Today, I felt chilly and put a sweater on.
Harrier's Burgeria
For everyone who prefers their burger tall rather than wide, I made a miniature version of Burger King's Big King today.
Contains all the toppings the original has, plus a good copycat sauce.

My verdict: HUGE mess to eat!
You might be better off eating them sideways. I'll stick to single stacking the next time I'm using those slider buns.
