Honeymoon
No I did not get married, I want to talk about Honeymoon missions on GGPoker network. If you don't know what is this thing: if you register to a site on GGPoker network, you got daily missions for 30 days and you can get $300 in reward (actually it is $350 now, but let's discuss this later) if you can do it all. So far so good:

As Stackoffski mentioned in his blog, these missions is a good way to boost a bankroll. If you can do 25 out of 30 missions, you will be rewarded with $150. The last reward fir completing 25 challenges was $110 in tournament dollars. However GGPoker decided to change the rewards after I started to play and they give a $50 ticket for a multiflight NLHE tournament, T$50 and a $52,5 ticket for an Omaha MTT. I understand all players, who got upset about this change and I felt the same when I saw it in the poker client (especially, because I am doing these challenges on GG and Natural8 at the same time), but you can't comlain because they are giving away $350 instead of $300 altogether...
If you read my blog, you know that I like to find little cheats in T&C if poker rooms (remember the 888 bonus hacks, Vorpal?
), so I decided to do a little research. My first thought was to get the tickets and wait for them to expire and got converted to T$. I tried to find the rule for this in T&C, but I couldn't so I wrote to the support of Natural8 and they kindly responded that the tickets will disapear after they expire and won't be converted to T$.
As a second solution I checked where can I use these ticekts and I found out that the last event will be played this Sunday. What if I don't claim these tickets till the last event? If I claim theme after it, I win't be able to use them, so something must happen after the registration closes for the last event. So that's what I will do: wait untill the last event and claim the rewards after. Let's se what happens!

As you can see I completed 24/24 challenges so far and I have 6 left:
500 hands of All-in or fold cashgame
Win a bounty Hunter MTT
500 hands of rush&cash
Play a 10x Spin&Gold
700 hands of rush&cash
Win All-in or fold Jackpot
3 of 6 is easy, the 10x spin is okay (there is 0,52% chance for a 10x), but the MTT and Jackpot ones are like God level. I have never won an MTT before and I played one FT only. For the jackpot I have to hit a straight flush. To be honest I am not sure if I want to try them or not.
You can see the list of the challenges here. There were some changes, so after I completed them all, I will write the corrected list here.
P.S.: Other good news: my withdrawal is in it's way now, so I can continue with my challenge in the (not too far) future ♠_biggrin:
Wow you got them all until now! Good Job!
I think when the Global Millions are over they will give you T$ again, or a ticket for whatever's running at that time.

As they made the promotion longer, I decided to play both MTTs. I did not finished ITM unfortunately. From the $50 I played 50*$1 Spin&Gold and won $58.
I promised I will write a list with the new Honeymoon challenges, so here it is (I will include the money I won/lost in eash mission):
1, 5 All-in or fold SnG (-$2,5)
2, 50 hands of NLHE ($0)
3, 50 hands of PLO (-$2,5)
4, 70 hands of All-in or fold cashgame (-$0,91)
5, 10 Spin&Golds (-$4)
6, 50 hands of SHort Deck (+$0,43)
7, 100 hands of Rush&Cash (-$0,28)
8, 5x Spin multiplier (+$0,25)
9, 3x Spin multiplier (-$0,50)
10, Get AA in All-in or fold cash (+$4,59)
11, 20 AoF SnG (+$7,50)
12, 30 Spin&Golds (+$2,5)
13, Play daily guarantee MTT (-$2)
14, Win with full house (+$5,49)
15, 100 hands Short Deck (-$1,97)
16, 200 hands of Rush&Cash (+$7,27)
17, Win with flush in All-in or fold cash (-$5,53)
18, Win All-in or fold SnG (-$0,80)
19, 300 hands of All-in or fold (-$4,34)
20, 500 Hands of Rush&Cash (-$2,28)
21, 300 hands of NLHE (-$1,23)
22, 50 Spin&Golds (+$0,25)
23, Win with quads in PLO (-$5,15)
24, 300 hands of PLO ($0)
25, 500 hands of All-in or fold cash (missed)
26, Win a Bounty Hunter MTT (lol, not even tried)
27, 500 Hands of Rush&Cash (-$5,16)
28, Get 10x Spin multiplier (Not even tried)
29, 700 hands of Rush&Cash (missed)
30, Win All-in or fold Jackpot (Are you kidding?)
Altogether I lost $10,87 playing the challenges to win $22,5 in cash, T$62,5, 12*$0,5 AoF SnG tickets, $50 NLHE MTT ticket and $52,5 PLO MTT ticket. Yes, i would be happy with the T$60 instead of the 2 MTT tickets, but this isn't bad at all.

Honeymoon 2.0
As I wrote before I played the HM Missions on GGPoker and Natural8 at the same time. I just finished them on Natural8 as well and I got a bit luckier: I made $6,78 (
) while I completed the missions (I selected better than last time) and from the T$50 I played 50 Spin&Gold tournaments, where I won $71 this time. Also I had a $5 PLO satelite ticket to the Day 1 of the Omaholic Millions Event. Unfortunately I couldn't make it. I was a bit confused at the late phase of the tournament, because I used to play push or fold in MTT with a stack less than 10bb. However I couldn't do it since the game was pot limit. I decided to focus on resteals instead, where I could push preflop.
This was my final hand:

Dammit dealer, what a river...
MTT Madness
While played I wanted to open another table, but not cashgame. I decided to try FlipGO format. I got dealt a 3 card flush, so I got my stacked doubled before the first hand. In the first hand I got lucky again (of course on the river):

Than I made it to the final table, this was the first hand:
GG Poker - 10,000/20,000 Ante 2,500 NL - Holdem - 8 players

I am not sure about my call, there are experienced MTT players here, I hop they will tell their opinion about the hand.
I reached 1 million chips with the hand above (As I remember I never crossed that line before), but after that my luck left me.

That's how I finished my 2nd final table ever on tha 6th place.

But that isn't the end of the story!
I had a mission on Unibet, which was to play a casual freezeout MTT to win a €1 MTT ticket. I decided to play a €0,25 freezeout tourney, where I finished on the 5th place out of 70 people. To be hones I lost my patience after I made it to the FT again. At that point I should've been in bed for 1,5 hours.
From the €1 ticket I decided to play the €75 Shootin Star Bounty tournament. The field was small, only 57 other players registered.
After I got to the FT again (3 out of 4 MTTs this week
) I got dealt pocket 4s, one very active player limped before me and I decided to overlimp.

We went all-in OTF, and I managed to hold. From that point the game was easy, beacause of my massive chip lead.

I shipped an MTT for the first time in my life for a life changing money: €11,69 and €5,85 in bounties.
And why I wrote all of this? Because I have a $52,50 ticket to Omaholic Millions and a $50 ticket to Global Millions.
I hope I haven't used all my luck, wish me luck!

I reached the Day 2 of Global millions. Started Day 1 with 10k chips and finished with 44k. It wil be 14,4bb only tomorrow, but let's hope the best!

Thank you Vorpal! I thought it is closer, but not bad at all. What do you think about the preflop all-in heads up? Was it okay or just waste of chips?

I really don't know PLO well enough to state for certain, but I'd need to know how many BB we're talking about.
Above 15 and I'd rather flat

Thanks for your opinion! I doubt that I will play PLO tournament in the near future, but I liked the few NLHE MTTs I played in November. I played some satellites om Unibet this week. I found out that they have very small field and often they are like double or nothing SnGs, which was my main game in the mid 2010s.

I was lucky enough and from €15 I won a €10 and a €25 ticket to Unibet Online Poker Series. I will use all of them this weekend.
Also I don't want to switch to MTTS and don't write about cashgames in my blog. I am running really good in the past two months actually. October was a record month (doubled the my previous best month) and I won 1,5x more in November compared to October ![]()
Here is my excel graph since I started ti play poker again:

You can exactly see how good was the last two month and also easy to spot where I started to take weekly one on one coaching sessions ♠_cool:

I just found out that one of my older sessions will be reviewed at 19:15 (in 37 minutes) by Weazel_1991 on his twitch channel! 😛
It is hard to set goals for the next year while I am experiencing the worst downswing I have ever had in poker, but here we go.
I did not wrote about what stakes I am playing for ages, but to be fully transparent with my goals I think I have to. I moved down from NL25 to NL10 to work on my serious mentalk game issues. At the moment I am rolled for NL50, but I will stay on NL10 until I can get myself together again.
1, Finish my side tankroll challenge
2, 180 hours if study time in poker
3, Play my first session of NL50
4, Record a session every month with my comments and upload it here
5, Read 6 books
Only self improvements books counts, but doesn't matter if it is for poker or for my job.
6, Reach $10 hourly in poker
At the moment my hourly winrate is between $5 and $6.
7, Make $6.000 from poker
I know, I know... Pofit goals are not the best I can set, but this one is only an "extra" ![]()
8,Play 500.000 hands
9, Lose 13 kgs of weight
At the moment I am 93 kg, the goal is 80kg. A week ago I only had to lose 10kg, but you know.... Christmas ![]()
10, Swim across lake Balaton
This time I will actually swim with the fishes
In every year there is a swimming "competition in Hungary, where you can swim across lake Balaton. The distance is 5.200m. Since for goal 9 my plan is to exercise more in the gym and in the swimmming pool, this sport event is a perfect goal. Also I want to do it every year, but it got delayed a few times due to bad weather, so I couldn't make it. Save the date: 2022.07.23!
11, Complete my first triathlon
My goal is to do the sprint distance. It is 750m swimming, 20km on bike and 5km of running. First two is easy, but I don't really like to run, that's the biggest challenge in it.
The list could be longer in the future, but these are the 10 most important goal for me in 2022.
