HM3 won't let me purchase via Skrill so I've deposited on Stars with my Raffle winnings.

I'm not motivated enough to play $0.50 Sit & Go games when I know I have extra funds and will likely crush them over time.

So, I've consciously decided to hit the $1 games instead with a 150 buy-in bankroll.

I will use up the remaining trial of HM3 before deciding on whether or not to buy it as I'm not using it for HUD purposes (only for tracking results and hands)

If there's a better option out there that's free or cheaper please let me know :)

I don't know about "better", but Hand2Note has a free option. I've used it for six+ games

Pretty sure I've just been colluded against by two Brazilians in a $1 Sit & Go lol!

Either that or the SB is a complete moron who folded his option with 25BBs to the BBs 1.2BBs.

The BB then sun ran vs me to knock me out in 4th!

FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF

Anyways, only played 4 games, which all looked very promising with 4-6 players left but finished up with 2 silver medals and a small profit!

Let's review them and see where I fucked up!

Not much wrong after review - one wide shove with A6o with 5 left but other than that we played as close to perfect as possible.

I thought maybe I should have shoved my K9s in the aforementioned hand with the short stack but it was a correct fold.

Unlikely to play again before the month is out so will wait until my update before posting results.

Given the general player pool at these limits, I think the "complete moron" explanation is more plausible.

That, or he was multitabling or something and didn't pay attention.

Yep that's also a possibility. I did raise it to live support just in case.

Congrats with the blogprice:f_drink: Not sure how a blog about a pasty Irishman losing weight won, so it must be a random raffle :f_love:

Saturdays are usually a busy day for me and normally away from the PC so let's get the March update in now!

Firstly revisiting the goals

March goals:

[X] 1,500 - 1.600 average daily calorie intake
Intake was 1,491
[X] 30,000 calories deficit
39,975 over the 31 days
[X]1,000 average daily calorie deficit
1,290 daily average
[X] 850+km cycle (27.5km per day)
Nailed this and early = 1,226km which is 39.5km daily averaged
[X] 12,750+ calories earned via cycling
18,390
[X] 8lb weight loss
Yes sir! - 13 lbs - new weight 13st 10.5lbs (192.5 lbs / 87.31kg)
[X] 1 treat dinner every fortnight (takeaway)
Yes, including this evening - it was yum!
[X] 5 a day fruit/veg combo at least 25 days
Yes, every day in fact.
[ ] Drink 3 pints of water each day!
Missed this one.

Overall a really good month and crushed all the important goals and beginning to feel the improvements as well as see them reflected on the scale and in the mirror!

I will do a poker update separately (after 100 games played) - currently in the low 60s between $0.50s and $1s - all I can say is I am in profit albeit narrowly.

April goals to follow....

Milestones:

Jan 22nd - 15 st 13.75 lbs
Feb 1st - 15 st 9 lbs
Mar 1st - 14 st 11.5 lbs
Mar 31st - 13 st 10.5 lbs
End goal - 11 st 7 lbs

Nothing fancy - grilled chicken burger and a side of home-made fries!

Thank you - hitting all the right notes at the moment - but putting the hard work in is definitely giving the required results.

Poker Update:

103 Games played

53 $0.50s
49 $1s

Haven't played and $0.50s in a few days

Not an awful lot to go on here with such a small sample

I've had two $0.50 chests as well (50 Stars Coins each)

Very few mistakes with push/folding but I'm probably being too tight across the board.

HM3 is not working properly and the results are not updating very well (I've had to update it twice today so that the correct winnings were applied!)

Thoughts and advice are welcomed!

If any further screenshots are needed please let me know :D

UPAY, at those limits, it may be better to be a little too tight than too loose. We don´t wanna forget, that most of the Villains at those limits make insanely loose calls. In my experience, it´s better to be patient. Sometimes they kick each other out with their too loose pushes and calls and you get a "free ticket" ITM. :f_ugly: Sometimes you have to fold hands which would be correct pushes, but in those special situations they are not, because of extremely loose calling range.

Fair point indeed - I'll take a deeper dive into my stats before my HM3 sub runs out and post for ideas on specifics.

I will try to be less involved in pots without premium hands from tomorrow.

I was led to believe that too much exercise is counter-productive. In the days when I had a trainer, I was told at least one day of rest each week — preferably two.
