Exactly. And it doesn't even matter if villain adjusts. If you facing 3 bets you lose money.
Hi community,
I continued to play a few hundred hands and lost some buy ins. Overall I'm still on the winning side, but I also read a lot of poker theory. I was studying the complete silver section for poker psychology and I will also continue to read more articles in the NL category.
Here the graph and statistical data:

Looking much better!
Hello community,
I want to give you an update about my progress. Since my last post I nearly completed to read the book "Master Micro Stakes Poker: Learn to Master 6-max No Limit Holdem Micro Stakes Cash Games". I read over 90% of this book. I also bought the e book of "The mental game of poker" and also started to read here.
I need to admit I still c-bet too often at the flop, and I was thinking how to change this. I programmed a random function in my odds and outs calculator excel sheet and it is the way that it is saying check to 55% at the flop and c bet to 45%. But I don't use it when I hitted with a good hand, then I always bet for value. I think around 30% you can bet for value, and the remaining 0,7*0,45 = 0,315 gives me a c-bet range in total of 61,5%. I think it is still too high? What do you think? When I would change the strategy to 20% c-bet in the 70% range when I don't bet for value I would have a total c-bet range of 30% (c-bet for value) + 70%*0,2=14% (as c-bet bluff). This would give me a total c-bet value of 44% which is more difficult for villian from my point of view because it includes 2/3 of value c-bets and 1/3 of bluff c-bets. The bluff c-bet I only do against one opponent.
What is your approach here?
After my upswing at NL5 thinks went bad again for me and I lost a lot of buy ins some also due to bad play.
Here is my current poker result graph:

If you can, you should take a look at your average foldequity for cbets in pokertracker (with filters). It is probably pretty high. I don't know how much this differs from rush or normal tables, but on rush they fold a lot when I looked at that.
Hi Stackoffski,
from all my flop C-Bets (75,6%) I was winning with 48,6% at the Flop. This gives me a C-Bet range of 75,6*0,486 = 36,74%. Keeping this in mind I think the 44% c-bet range (30% for value) and 14% as a c-bet bluff is better then the 75,6% range. What is your opinion.
@Stackoffski: Thank you for the tip with the additional filters, I didn't know this.

The lower picture is filtered for all flop c-bets at my NL5 Game on GG Poker.

Hi community,
I again played a few hands but left the tables because most of opponents were regulars.
Here is the current status:

Update: I finished to read the "Master Micro Stakes Holdem Book". Also I continued to read "The Mental Game of Poker".

More up than down ... nice results! You should show the EV-stats as well: it's more trustworthy (for the long run).
Keep going :f_thumbsup::f_thumbsup: (don't forget to take breaths)
Hi community,
I played a few hands since my last post. I continued to read "The Mental Game of Poker" and it is a really good book. I can advise anybody to read it, who wants to understand the psychology behind your way of playing.

Hi community,
I have one question. Today I looked into the details of my all in equity calculation in Poker Tracker. What I don't understand I only have one winning hand with 8% all in equity and one with 48%, all other winning hands which were all in I won, and had an equity higher as 50% many times way higher as 50%.
Why is my all in equity -29,42$ if my equity from my winning hands is still quite high and negative for nearly all hands which were all in and won? My losing hands I have had a look, here are also some hands higher 50% which I still lost and most hands below 50%.

PS EDIT: I just performed a google search, does it really mean in general I would have won 29,42$ more? I thought it means the different, that my equity was so low that I would have lost more...

Hi Community,
today I played 493 hands, one all in situation. 10,15$ in the Pot, I had 77,27% equity, (10,15$ *0,7727 = 7,84$). But my "My C All-In Adj" = 2,22$. What the hell is calculated here? When I calculate the equity from villian (10,15$ * 0,2273=2,30$).

The hand:
GG Poker - $0.05 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 5 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4
SB: 61.4 BB (VPIP: 52.48, PFR: 21.78, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 105)
BB: 137.8 BB (VPIP: 24.32, PFR: 16.22, 3Bet Preflop: 11.43, Hands: 74)
UTG: 107.8 BB (VPIP: 17.91, PFR: 8.96, 3Bet Preflop: 6.67, Hands: 68)
CO: 143.6 BB (VPIP: 27.78, PFR: 25.00, 3Bet Preflop: 7.69, Hands: 38)
Hero (BTN): 100 BB
SB posts SB 0.4 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB
Pre Flop: (pot: 1.4 BB) Hero has A♥ K♣
fold, fold, Hero raises to 3 BB, SB calls 2.6 BB, BB calls 2 BB
Flop: (9 BB, 3 players) Q♠ J♦ 9♥
SB checks, BB checks, Hero checks
Turn: (9 BB, 3 players) T♦
SB checks, BB bets 10 BB, Hero raises to 20 BB, fold, BB raises to 134.8 BB and is all-in, Hero calls 77 BB and is all-in
River: (203 BB, 2 players) 2♠
BB shows K♦ 8♦ (Straight, King High)
(Pre 29%, Flop 16%, Turn 23%)
Hero shows A♥ K♣ (Straight, Ace High)
(Pre 71%, Flop 84%, Turn 77%)
Hero wins 190 BB
There was no other all in hand today and it is filtered for today. I really don't understand this.

I had the same currency import trouble recently at PokerTracker 4; iPoker winnings shown 12€ higher than it actually was. For some reason PT4 couldnt correctly import the currency. The BB graph it should show correctly.
The EV-adjusted all-in is your total profit, but with all pre-river all-in situations corrected to "what you should have won" according to your winning chances. (it considers all hands played, but for the non all-in hands the adjusted value will just be the same as the actual value)
In your last screenshot, the $2.22 all-in adj is for all 493 hands, if you filter for only the specific hand where you had 77.27% equity, it should display the correct value.
Btw: if you go to Configure->Statistics in Pokertracker, you can see the definitions of the stats.
Hi Stackoffski,
Google ki is saying negativ value for the adjusted all in ev is saying you won less Then it was expected over the long run. Is this correct?
By the way I wish all members a happy new year!

Goodmorning this 2026 ...
What google is saying is not right. If the adj allin ev is negative, you where expected to lose.
Here is a description of the stat from pokertracker:

In your graph-settings, you can select 'Display all-in equity':

That will add a line to your graph that shows what you where expected to win.
Hi Stackoffski,
I still use a Pokertracker Version form 2013. I have not paid for the annual upgrade. I calculated in a excel list all my all in hands and my all in equity. the result is I should have won more expected over the long run as I did. But the result is not correct. My excel list shows me I should have won 182$ in all all in situations where I had equity >0, but I only won 136,2$. When I then remove the 61,8$ where I had equity =0 I come to the result I should have won 182$ - 61,8$ = 120,2$ but I actually only won 136,2$ - 61,8$ = 74,4$. This gives me 45,8$ under expected value.
I don't know why Pokertracker makes such errors but I spend some time over the results and calculated myself. I think it is due to the old version from 2013.
Do you paid for the annual upgrade for Pokertracker 4?

Oh that sucks! You know, there have been a lot of updates concerning GGPoker. I bought PT4 Holdem small stakes, it's $65. I know that is a lot if you play $2nl / $5nl, but I made the investment. I don't regret although it's use is a bit limited with GGPoker because no player names.
If you did not do this already, you could download a trial version of PT4 and check the differences. I would do that, because I wouldn't trust the old version. If GGPoker changed something the old version won't work properly anymore.
Good times at the tables
Hi Stackoffski,
I checked the current version of poker tracker and it is the same which I have. But then I don't understand what will you get when you pay for the annual updates? I also have a Holdem Small stakes license from 2013...
This user here had the same issue, his EV Line dropped but he had 73,4% equity.
https://www.pokertracker.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=102671&p=370555

I think what you wrote that a negative c-won all in adjusted is saying you should have lost is wrong. Because here the same result as for me. He had the way higher equity here and the graph is turning negative.

So what does it say when you filter for only that A♥ K♣ hand? where you had 77.27% equity? What ev adjusted winnings? Is that number wrong? What does it say?
