Hand converted with online PokerStrategy.com hand converter:

Play hand

$200/$400 No-Limit Hold'em (2 handed)

Known players:
[tg]BB(Hero)$3750.00:///////;SB$9750.00:///////;[/tg]

Preflop: Hero is BB with J:d, T:c.
SB calls $200.00, Hero checks.

Flop: ($800) 9:s, J:h, 4:c (2 players)
Hero checks, SB raises to $9,350.00(All-In), Hero calls $3,350.00.

Turn: ($13500) A:d (2 players)

River: ($13500) 8:s (2 players)

Final Pot: $13500.

Any reason not to see tpgk as the nuts here? Villain is unknown.

i would lead it half pot because i also do this with trash quite often. but that depends on your playing style i guess :)
mh snapcall for me without reads. as you said: tp/gk and why should he shove 4x ps with a hand which has you beat?
of course there might be players who are trapping big pairs or AJ like that and then shove it because they fear to get outdrawn by QT, T8 or something stupid but more often i think they have a draw or a mediocre made hand and just want to win the pot right away. i would expect to see a weak Jx, T8/QT or hands like T9, Q9 here very often.

and btw: i almost missed that but this is a shove for me preflop. even against an "unknown" opponent. which brings us to the next point: as unam said: you are doing something wrong if a opponent is still unknown at 200/400, especially when it´s HU . you just must have gained some reads, or at least suggestions if he is a fishy/decent player while playing the bubble and 3-handed. well he looks fishy though ;). it happens from time to time but then i would at least sharkscope him and/or use the player search to get at least SOME idea who i´m up against ^^

Some poker sites can ban you for using sharkscope while playing. As for the hand, I would shove preflop and snap call as played.

I don't see the big dilemma, this is a supersnapcall as played... you're ahead here like 95% of the time (or some other random big amount)

Without any previous history or specific game dynamic with this villain (aka a regular you played often before) I'm always check/shoving this flop. But like frzl says it's because of gamestyle, I don't donk that often on flop.

Haha good to know I'm not the only person that does that.
