I wouldn't drop out either. Just saying that making $1200 when you're just starting out isn't easy, assuming that you will begin at the micros..

And getting used to a new stake or type of game or anything takes some time as well.. in my experience at least. I'm used to 6 max sng.. I can't go multitable 9-man sng just when I feel like it..

Anything is possible with a week as a samplesize.

If i made $1200 a month.. as a student that'd be very nice and all.. but i wouldn't drop out of college for that.. that's like minimum wage.. or even below i think where i live.. It's not easy but really not impossible either.. I heard of a nl100 super nova (or even elite don't remember) player who was actualy a losing player.. but he was living off of poker winnings due to the bonusses and rakeback..

Would hate to play nl100 breaking even and living through rb and bonuses, not to mention loosing.

If your dedicated enough anything is possible.

The issue is your poker mentality is going to be affected negatively because you have to make X amount or your screwed so if you have 2 horrible days your more likely to tilt etc.

There is lots of work here in Canada :) You can work part time and make 1.2k easy :)

I understand where your coming from though I was broke and jobless for a couple months after school.

gl at the tables

Think about it... if it were that easy everyone would do it. (Or almost everyone).

Idk.. for every winning player there are a bunch of losing ones. Takes time to climb your way out of the bunch.

Well if you grind like 24 tables like some ppl do on NL100 for 8 hours a day you will get supernova elite sooner or later and thats worth well over a 100k in bonuses. You still have to at least breakeven.

Yeah, 24 - tabling nl100 is deffo some1 with 600$ br should do.
BTW OP could try his hand at SS, this way much more rb would be generated. If not this, imo collecting bottles or other recyclables would give more guarantees.

Now onto serious note. You've got 6 months, dear OP, so if u use them wisely, maybe you could pull something like this off. Who knows, maybe you've got next Ivey or durrr sleeping inside u. Would not hold my breath over this one however...
