Well, you don't beat much here. A2, A3... that's it. Raising the flop with air, hoping to create FE on a scary turn is probaly way too complicated for a standard "unknown". I think he'll valuebet 6x against your 4x or whatever, and A2-A3 hands aren't enough to call.

Action on paired boards is often weak as he can't have that many combinations with made hands so I like to calldown as default after his flopraise.

The turn is pretty bad as any K-high beats you now and the river completes a few draws.

The turncall is ok for me as you can hope for him to give up his bluff on the river after you called such a scarecard (fold here if he is betting the river too often).
On the river it's time for me to finally give up on this hand as he continues to be even if you show him that you are willed to calldown and it also completes draws as said above.

Wouldn't it instead be a calldown on a blank river if he bets the river too often? Sure the turn is a bad card, but personally I think people 3-barrel bluff far too often, which would make this hand a call on a blank river for me.

A strong hand on the flop is going to call the flop and raise the turn. He doesn't want to raise the flop as this folds out hero's bluffs saving hero a bet. Ace high is certainly good enough on the flop to get to showdown but that river card meant that every draw has improved while we have not.
If the river was a 4/5/K I would instantly call the river, and probably also with 9/T/J/Q depending on villains stats for 3 barrelling.

It depends highly on your opponents so if you know that he likes to bluff to much a calldown becomes more easy.
