you should also tilt hard from time to time, so that the fish will have no idea whether you're on tilt or not
CAn't remember the last time I slowplayed AA or KK preflop. Postflop I will chk/c IP occasionally v an agro-pilchard, but only IP; OOP big betting! Lost AA v pilchard just now AI PF for 100bb at micro cash, board hit 64486 and he had 96s ![]()
If you are going to slowplay at micro cash, know your enemy, otherwise just get the chips in. Gl.

I hope i was able to help you shed some light on this mystery of aces
all true
but i would much rather prefer fancy betsizing like 8999 chips

If you openlimp AA KK from UTG my question to you is this: what else will you openlimp to balance this?
Sometimes slowplaying is easy. Say in a 6max game CO raises and you are BU with AA. Calling here is easy because you would also call with 55 KQ or maybe 98 suited. Your range is wide so a slowplay works well here. UTG limps are often very narrow ranges. Some hands that fishes think "are good enough to play but not good enough to raise" like A9s or KJo and slowplay hands. You need to convince others that your hand is weak and then you will get good value for your AA. This is why I think limping UTG with aces is a terrible play. Slowplay is perfectly okay but pick the right spot to do it. Some combination of an aggressive opponent, position, and the perception of having a weak hand will make a good spot to slowplay.
If you openlimp AA KK from UTG my question to you is this: what else will you openlimp to balance this?
I *usually* don't openlimp AA nor KK - BUT i use to openlimp suited connectors and highly speculitve hands from time to time...
IMHO there is a huge difference to both hands:
with AA you are *always* dominating preflop - whereas most highly speculative hands (suited connectors, smaller pocketpairs) often won't give you a dominating hand (except for the smaller pocket pairs - those are a little different story).
So for instance limping AA you always face a big risk that someone else might improve to a straight, set, flush or double pair or get flash/straight draw. But folding an AA on flop is pretty weird (and a lotta folks won't fold at all).
A speculative hand that you can see a cheap flop with might turn into a monster/flash draw/straight draws or stay unimproved - and then it's an easy fold.
Condensed:
Play AA for value and openlimp rather speculative hands in position.
An AA is a pretty isolated hand - you have top pair but cannot profit too much from public cards (one card flush, straight outs are little) - a speculative hand can profit much more from the public cards and turn into a really strong hand. Therefore, with AA you must give the blinds a good reason to fold. Imagine the BB checking it through with 47o and busting your aces with a flopped straigt or double pair?
I been trying to vary between all in or slow playing!
I have noticed!
When you hit the bubble if you go all in with pocket AA or KK your almost guaranteed to not get any action, unless its somebody who is about to get blinded out and they go all in with Q or higher!
So maybe slow playing will get you more chips here!
If your the large stack...no action at all!
If your a small stack....you will usually get a large stack to call!
So is slow playing AA or KK on the bubble maybe a better way to go?
last time i check, on 0.25 limit, i limped my KK from UTG+2, 4 players call, raise, reraise, and last one goes all inn!!!
Now my turn after 3 players reraises, the pot getting bigger than my expectations...regret didnt reraise my KK!
