as played , you are going broke on the flop.

QQ u can play it as a big pocket pair or you can cluster them together with 88 - JJ.

think about each scenario if you Raise / Flat / Fold QQ vs 22 - 99 , TT - AA , random picture cards.

1) if you 3bet at that spot , you can gain the initiative postflop , which will miss the players like 2/3 of the time. So by cbetting after 3bet , you can take many pots.

2) if you 3bet at that spot , you also open the doors to 4bet , which forces the initiative back to them.

3) if you flat the PFR , on such a flop vs 22 - AA , vs random picture cards , you pot control vs 22 , 33 ,TT , KK , AA , you are ahead of other picture cards even if it hits the T. you will get value from lots of under pairs who cbet once and done like 44 - 99 , JJ.

Hi,

Just know your opponent, and failing to do that, don't be afraid to play QQ a tad weakly at microstakes. Most regs don't just go broke automatically with AQ/TT+ like they do at higher stakes, especially not when you 3-bet their UTG open raises, so when you do get 4-bet you're usually slightly ahead or far behind villain's hand.

If you believe villain might be a fish or just a tag that tends to call 3-bets too often out of position, 3-betting is just fine. If he's a tight regular, just call in position and save yourself the trouble.

As played like Chenghao said, you can't really fold the flop. If you can't put any hand that you beat into villain's range on the flop, he didn't have anything you beat in his preflop 4-betting range either, meaning you shouldn't have gotten to the flop in the first place.
