He'd been calling the big blind almost every hand for the last 7 or 8 pre-flop. Betting after the flop in an attempt to steal in my view. Playing ver loose.

This meant is was very difficult to put him on a hand range, proved by the fact that he called a decent raise pre-flop with only 10d-5d.

I understand your pot value odds - but he was still betting a consioderable amount of his stack size on a draw.

Good raise preflop, bet the flop when you hit, push the turn. No weak play or slow play.

The rest is luck and has nothing to do with right or wrong play.
