Hi!

When he raises that flop action get HU and again we are in standard situation with good made hand IP....call flop/raise turn

As played you should definatelly bet turn when checked to. He rarely has a flush and 2 pair would most likely bet. When raised you can be sure of his strenght and can fold.

River call is very marginal. Not that its a mistake for 1:9 since these guy can bet just about anything here but you cannot expect to be good here that often since the main hands that you were beating(Ax) would usually just check this river and there are almost no unimproved draws that would cap flop

Well, I forgot to mention that he likes to c/r turn his sets with initiative, and it's why I prefered a check behind.

In fact, I should have bet/folded, but I thought that I could be folding TP to a bluff, so I preferred keeping my bet for the river, but that's true, it's a mistake I have to stop making.

Thanks again.

Hi!

The read that he is tricky with monsters is sure an unpleasant one but there are not many monsters on this board(AA/QQ/AQ very unlikely due to preflop so only 44 is reasonable and for sure flushes)

But I think if he has 44 here he will rarely c/r it on this scarecard but will b/calldown it most often. So he may have a flush or Ax and here you still have value against him. By checking you give him a freecard which is rarely gonna help you on this board but in most it will help him when he has like Ax with spade.

And it doesnt say anywhere that you cannot fold this hand when raised. I would need a read that he can be spazzy with crap to make a calldown here.
