villian is 15/13/2.7 winningn reg.
with resteal vs BU 23%. i decided to flat a hand since he has been pretty active vs me and gameflow wise i think it is a right time to fight back, although cards wise it's marginal at best. there's also an argument for 4b/f but i with this guy's heavy 3betting, he's going to have a wide 5bet range as well so i thought i could employ the power position and take down the pot as soon as i see weakness
when he checked on this flop, and flatted my flop bet, i think he's almost never strong and can easily fold to my turn bet.
hated my life alot when he raised the turn, and couldnt fidn the heart to hit the call button, which should be right since he's never bluffing? but his play is just so strange...

Fold preflop.
Against the top 27% you're a huge dog:

Board:
       Equity     Win     Tie
Hero    35.19%  34.45%   0.75% { J7s }
BB    64.81%  64.06%   0.75% { 66+, A3s+, K7s+, Q8s+, J9s+, T9s, A8o+, K9o+, QTo+, JTo }

As played I'd try to get to SD as cheap as possible and perhaps induce a bet - so imo checking the flop is best. He's very unlikely to have some kind of draw as he'd bet with those.
If you think you can get him to fold Ax and Kx at some point the bet is good. However, in this case we should try to set up nice stacksizes for the river, so I'd bet $12 on the flop and then $24 in $44 on the turn.

As played definitely b/f turn.
I didn't narrow down his range yet, and look at how we do against the full 27%:

Board: A♥J♥K♣ 9♦
       Equity     Win     Tie
MP2    20.50%  19.54%   0.96% { J7s }
MP3    79.50%  78.54%   0.96% { 66+, A3s+, K7s+, Q8s+, J9s+, T9s, A8o+, K9o+, QTo+, JTo }

(of course this is not a good approximation as he's likely to cbet strong hands, but still you can see that we were bluffing, a bet/call with third pair is almost certainly -EV as nobody is bluffing you enough to make the call profitable).
