The hiatus is over! I have found a way to deposit on to Full Tilt....thank you paysafe card!

So, I have made my first deposit! My rakeback will begin and I have activated the first deposit bonus!

Beware at the tables, I'm BAAAaaaaaaAAAAAck! Or, more likely, Come and take my money! LOL

Looking forward to getting back at the felt!

Yesterday was another down day. I was, by far, the biggest fish at the table I was at. Too much of the hoping something hits...not enough decent poker.

Yesterday's results were bad....very bad.

Today, before I started playing, made sure I was in the right frame of mind. Instead of clicking buttons, I wanted to actually play poker. What a difference that makes.

Played 430 hands at Rush, NL5....finished +226.9 BB. Now to study some hands and see where I can improve...that should be a long list :)

Just happy to have an up day...was forgetting what that felt like there for a bit.

I know I mentioned that I would play with a strict BRM...however (I love that) in order to earn enough FTP to clear the bonus, I need to generate more volume. The NL2 tables frustrate me to no end. Most of the time I sit at a table in NL2 and the vpip for the table is under 10. If everyone is playing a range that tight, chances are when you get a hand, someone has a better one...or....everyone folds to the hint of aggression, unless they have you crushed.

I find the NL2, not boring, and not fun...not sure the word for it...frustrating??? That might be it...

To stay within a sound BRM, I guess I would have to play the SSS at the NL5 stakes. That would give me the 25BI and be within BRM. (Here is the however for this one) However, I have noticed there are a lot of folks at the NL5 Rush tables playing less than a full buy-in....so if I think in effective stacks, I am actually playing with only $2...at a table....maybe????? But if I am able to wake up with a playable hand against a full-stack, I can profit more than I could at a smaller stack.

Is this justification....Yes. Does it make sense? Probably not, unless you are wanting to believe what I am typing...which at this point, I do.

Last point....since I now know how I can get funds into Full Tilt....if I go busto, it is just a drive to the gas station to purchase a paysafe card....and presto....back in action.

:f_grin: Skype is experiencing technical difficulties and will not run for some reason......

OMG!!!!

I just realized that there is a "Fold" button on Full Tilt that allows you to leave a hand and not waste anymore of your stack!!!! Unbelievable!!!! All you have to do is click on it and your cards are mucked....

Also, I have heard stories and rumors about something called a 4-bet...Didn't really know what it looked liked until recently. You see, when someone raises pre-flop and you suspect them of being on a weak hand and/or just trying to steal the blinds.....if you raise their raise....Presto! 4-bet! It is quite fascinating how it works. Most of the time, the original raiser will just fold. Or they will shove, which then of course, you can click on that "Fold" button mentioned earlier. I have found this little technique places the opponents cards virtually face-up and it is much easier to put them on a smaller range of hands, which then allows you to make better decisions.

Hopefully, you found out about these 2 things before I did...but if you haven't, give them a try and experience it for yourself.
