villain has pretty much identical stats as me preflop, but is fairly weak post flop, so I decided to 3 bet to take initiative ( which TBH I'd done a bit). After he caps, do I ever x/raise the flop?

Hand converted with online PokerStrategy.com hand converter:

Play hand

$0.05/$0.1 Fixed-Limit Hold'em (6 handed)

Preflop: Hero is BB with J:d, K:h.
MP2 folds, MP3 raises, 3 folds, Hero 3-Bets, MP3 caps, Hero calls.

Flop: (8.4 SB) A:h, K:d, T:c (2 players)
Hero checks, MP3 bets, Hero calls.

Turn: (5.2 BB) K:c (2 players)
Hero checks, MP3 checks.

River: (5.2 BB) 9:d (2 players)
Hero bets, MP3 folds, Hero gets uncalled bet back.

Final Pot: 5.2 BB.

Hi!

Preflop 3bet is pretty bad.Vs MP3 KJo doesnt even have equity edge +you are playing OOP. Anything else than just calling is missplay.

After his cap your hand is obviously in terrible shape and absolutelly no need to c/r flop.Only reasonable hands you are beating are QQ,JJ against which protection is not really an issue.

Turn is actually pretty close between c/c and c/r since K doesnt change all that much, just he has less AK and no KK combos. Also when he bets combos of QQ,JJ have to be reduced since he often checks these behind.I would c/c turn.

River valuebet is now easy.
