what are your opinion on buying in for minimum on cash game and leaving once you double up thx in advance

This is the essence of the short-stack strategy.

Start with the introduction which outlines the basics of this strategy.
Essentially, you play w/ 20bb in your stack, and leave when you have more than 25 bb -- way before you double up, in other words.
I know that Poker770 still allows 20bb stacks -- at least at NL 4 and NL 5, but I don't know about other rooms.
If their minimum is more than 20bb, you may need to look at the mid-stack strategy.

It all depends who is reading your question. People who play SSS will say it's a great idea! People who play BSS will say it's a bad idea.
It all depends which strategy you are playing. In our articles you can find the different strategy's for different buy-ins.
