[Closed] How to make money playing poker

Here are some hands to take apart that I just played in about 5 mins at one table .

I am playing 100% wrong to everything everyone ever told you.

I min raise with JJ , I check flop he bets his King on turn , I fold and lose half a raise. If I fold best hand who cares lol , I only invested 8 cents in the pot .

I min raise AA , no one re raises, I guess this hand is over before it began , two fish call with A8 , no money to be made here check it down just incase someone slow playing KQ or QJ etc

I flop 2 pair , I would usually raise here I mean I know I probably have him crushed but I want to continue my passive image and call him down so he can see how badly he was beat.

We butt heads again a few hands later , I play passively but he bets the flop so I decide to end this hand now, he plays back and me and I show him the power and take him to the cleaners.

yeah i just made 4 buy ins tonight in less than 1 1/2 hours playing single tables while watching tv .

the villian min raised with JJ in same position a few hands earlier so I put him on QQ KK or AA .. AK maybe but doubtful .. When I min raised to gather information and he moved all in I was 100% sure it was AA .

Step 3 : Know when not to min raise .

Even tho min raise is a powerful tool in the hands of a shark hunter like myself , sometimes you need to raise up alot , espeically if entire table has limped in and you are in blinds with a monster hand.

The blinds are like being under the gun. You have to have a monster hand to raise from them else just call .

Here is an example :

Iolate the player who probably calls with some small pair trying to mine set, fairly safe flop with no aces, Bet pot to see if the villian has hit his set, he folds i win , thanks for your money .

How to handle bad beats . Remember you are better than the player who got lucky .

No, we just find you to be abit of a tit thats all. I'm still strugling to work out if your "trying" to be funny (Because if you are you're not) or weather you are infact just completley re-tarded and/or have nothing better to do with you're life than take over the forum with these threads (it seems like you put alot of effort into them and i feel sorry for you).

I think you should take up Ihufa's offer (he's only bronzze after all...easy money ;)). Then after that you can STFU and GTFO.

Right on with the tutorial .

Now the key to really winning money in poker is playing well and playing ALOT of hands , and by alot I mean millions.

Here is how you play a set.

I hit my set, I intend to check raise on turn obviously but Im in luck and the player to my left moves all in . Easy call .

A bad position to be in , I could check and hope he c-bets to extract more money but I decide to bet , if he has Ace maybe he re raises and I get him in .

Notice Im short stacked , I figure that the average pot is not stack sized so im wasting money if i bring it all to the table . I would prefer to have my money working on other tables ie dont put al your eggs in one basket.

In this hand I check the flop because even tho I have top pair I dont have flush draw. After turn I believe I have best hand but no point scaring him off with a bet , I check again since winning blinds alone isnt worth it . On river the villian bluffs which is good because I was going to bet river same amount , Ill take his donation.

And this hand is why having small stack is good idea... because even with the best hand you can still lose . For some reason villian doesnt fear losing 50bb but maybe if i had 125bb he would think twice about moving all in with KK because its obvious I had AA , else why would I bet almost half my stack lol , im not going to do this with QQ when hes in that position. With QQ I might just call and hope to hit a set.
