Here are a few hands which will show you new guys how to make some money .
2 of these hands are a gamble. 1 is a sure thing .
Its always better to wait for a sure thing , but gambling is fun and can be profitable.
This first hand is a big gamble , if the guy calls me Im probably beat. However I sensed weakness on the flop and he probably has a small pair or AK AQ AJ etc .. either way tough decision for him now.
This hand here, I limp under gun which is not recommended by this site , however I limp under gun with a lot of small pairs so I decided Ill limp under gun with any hand now even AA or KK and hope for raise so I can limp raise which is obvious tell that I have AA usually . Always better to win without showdown unless u like bad beats.
Now the guy who moved all in must think I have small pair , bzzzzt wrong !
This hand , well what can I say , mine for set, flop nuts, I knew he had AA , come on man bet turn with your AA dont try and trap me by checking to induce me to bet . He bets river I get it in , late position is always good.

Just wanted to point out there is absolutely no reason to close this thread. All members are entitled to post whatever they like as long as it stays within the forum rules and people are civil and polite to each other. This is effectively Grailer's blog, but he would be unable to view it if it was in the blog section (until he become bronze status), so happy to leave where it is.
We would of course always encourage players to start off on the suggested strategy guides which are mathematically proven/tried and tested, but members can take whichever route they prefer, especially with their own funds.
It's never a bad thing to think outside of the box sometimes and all discussion/analysing hands is useful. I'm sure Grailer is happy for alternative points of view to be posted and/or their own views challenged, just keep it respectful to each other.

Having position is very powerful for gathering information in both these hands. Now no one recommends re raising with A5 , but I did this to isolate the player so I can take him heads up where I can use my superior skills at heads up to beat them .

Last time I voted freedom of speech and the right to express an idea was still allowed .
Freedom of choice is allowed too , the choice not to click on the link where the thread was started by me .
That being said maybe you should offer some ideas / reasons etc why you think my style is wrong and we can discuss this so beginners can make their own decisions .
