It seems that when I open a PS video I cannot "scroll" through the time anymore, it seems the videos are on a new/worse format.

What browser are you using?
Using an up-to-date firefox I tried http://www.pokerstrategy.com/video/30177/ and was able to scroll backwards and forwards, but only within the limits of the amount buffered so far.
You can see on the progress bar that a deeper black bar extends to the right of the grey portion.
The black bar represents the amount that is cached so far.
You can scroll within that.

I agree.
In chrome, the browser only caches v slightly ahead of the player.
Even when I try to go back, it just jumps forward again.
I guess I'll be watching w/ Firefox...
Just in case it's something correctable, I'll mention this to the Head Mod...

I cant no longer play videos. Tried in both Chrome and IE.
Get this error msg: Error loading media: File could not be played.
Does anybody else have this problem?

Glad to hear, I'm on chrome btw.
yes im getting this too. I have just become a silver member to watch the videos specifically and now i cant! im also using google chrome. How else can i watch them?
As I mentioned above, I have not yet had any problem watching videos using Firefox
