I live 10km from the main Nutella factory

We went there on an elementary school trip. We thought it would be amazing. Instead after 10 mins the smell of chocolate was nauseating. And they didn't even give us free samples X(

Didn't eat chocolate for a week after

Have you guys ever heard of this?

Terrible product in my opinion. But I guess it's a case of good idea, bad execution.
If you like it, good for you...

In Costco in Vancouver recently I saw Nutella in 5kg containers.

I looked, but they were not labelled "small"

There is clearly not enough of those dippy things for how much nutella is there. :f_biggrin:

Exactly!

Even assuming you cover the whole breadstick (which is unrealistic, since you still need to hold it), you're probably using only 50% of the Nutella in the box. If you cover only one half of the sticks, there's even more leftover Nutella that ends up in the trash. What a waste! :f_mad:

It's overpriced as well, considering that all the bread you're getting doesn't even amount to one slice of toast, as far as I can tell, and most of the Nutella will remain unused, unless you enjoy licking it out of the bowl as it is.

There's also too much packaging for such a small amount of Nutella and bread. Not eco-friendly at all.

But apparently, people are buying it...

If you like doing this, you'd get better value if you just bought a regular glass of Nutella.

Let me add, though, that I never even tried the product I was ranting about, and actually haven't eaten any Nutella in decades.

Not eating nutella in decades seems so wrong, oh, so wrong..

Speaking of not eating Nutella in decades, I just remembered a story from my childhood.

There was this Nutella commercial featuring Boris Becker on German television in the 90's.

Parents were outraged by this commercial, because it showed Boris licking some leftover Nutella off his knife at the end. They felt that Boris Becker is a role-model to our children, and we can't teach them that it's okay to lick your dinner knife at the table.

So what was the response from the Nutella guys? They claimed that the eating utensil in question was not in fact a knife, but a "Nutella spreader", so it's okay to lick it. I'm not making this up...

They even marketed it as a new product to be sold.

Spoiler

Say what you will about the "Nutella & Go" thing, but this one really is a pointless product.
