When I worked in Atlin, a local native that we had hired told me that scratching is what causes the problem.
According to him, if you let them finish biting -- and only then kill them -- then you get used to their poison a lot faster.
The idea is that they inject a substance to prevent the blood from coagulating in their plumbing, but as they draw blood, they draw out most of the poison too.
After that, you will get used to it faster if you don't scratch.
Whether it is because of his advice or something else, mosquitoes don't bother me much.
Up north, if you get bothered by mosquitoes, you can actually go crazy. I've seen people quit their jobs and go home because of the bugs.
And it isn't just mosquitoes. There are things called "black flies" which sometimes come in clouds so thick that they appear as a haze in the air.
Deer flies and Horseflies actually bite out chunks of skin.
Another thing that attracts mosquitoes is nice clean skin.
If you don't shower for a month or so, the mosquitoes stay totally away.
So do all humans, though, so there's a downside to that approach.

Probably not the place for me, then. What always bothered me most about mosquitoes is actually not their stings, but their annoying high-pitched humming at night when you're trying to sleep - especially because some of them loved to fly right into my ear.
In recent years, though, I don't have a big problem with them, because most of my windows are fortified with plenty of bug netting. And the few stings I get from being outside are tolerable.
Still: Mojitos > Mosquitoes.
Yeah I don't get bitten that much (especially if I walk around with a "mosquito lightning rod" friend, you should try that strategy lol) but I can't stand the noise.
I've got really sensitive hears. I really can't stand the noise coming from some type of crumbled paper. The one often used to wrap flowers.

make for me pork salat The problem is that I don´t even see the mosquitos. I´m playing tennis so focussing on the ball, not on mosquitos. I don´t see them and don´t feel when I get stung. Only one day later I feel the horrible itch!

Eventually your body will adapt, and you will no longer itch.
This takes a while. Longer if you scratch.

Yet again, the idea seems to be to scare everyone away, and hope that the mosquitoes are included.
That Azaron stick I mentioned isn't a repellent, though. It's some stuff you put on your stings, and it's supposed to reduce the itching. Not sure how many products like this exist, and how well they work.

Yes, and it should even show the same time as the digital clock next to it.
Not that it matters, because real clocks are not always perfectly synchronized either.
That is really well done!
The clock has two modes: Binary Coded Decimal, and that is what is used in your drawing.
In that mode, the left two columns are hours, the middle two minutes, and the last two are seconds.
There is also "true binary" which I like better
In this mode, the bottom row is seconds, the middle row is minutes, and the next row up is hours.
The 3 LEDs in the 4th row aren't used in this mode.

I was not aware of that. But now that you mention it, "true binary" is the mode I remember seeing when you showed it on stream. Of course, I had no idea how these things work and had to look it up, and found only an explanation of the other mode.
Speaking of unusual clocks, we once had a tabletop "rolling ball clock":

Here's how it works: The bottom row shows the hours, the middle row shows the minutes in units of five, the top row shows the remaining minutes within that unit of five, and the wheel at the top shows the seconds.
Every full minute, a rotating arm grabs another metal ball and adds it to the top row, the rest is simple mechanics, all done by gravity.

The pros: It's fascinating to look at when you first get it, and it makes for a great conversation piece whenever you have guests over. Who would have thought that looking at the time could be so interesting?
The cons: It will eventually drive you crazy, and it's impractical to use.
Think about it - every single minute, you get the noise from another ball being grabbed and rolling over, and every five minutes, you get all that racket from the balls changing rows. And every full hour, there's even more racket. Hopefully, you're not trying to take a nap in the same room.
And whenever you do want to see what time it is, you probably won't even bother because it takes too much time to read, and you surely got many more clocks in the same room that allow you to see the time with a simple glance.
So in conclusion, you got a clock that keeps bothering you when you don't want to see the time, and is overly complicated to read when you do want to see it. Reminds me of that "Everything's okay alarm" Homer Simpson once invented, which lets out an ear-piercing noise every three seconds unless there's an emergency.
I guess it'll do as a cute little Rube Goldberg machine to break the monotony of an office desk job.

I've always wanted a grandfather clock, but my wife couldn't even stand the ticking of a wind-up alarm clock.
I used the binary clock at work, and got quite adept at reading the time.
It now takes me a bit of thought.
