Veggie Tuesday
For me, it was time to re-visit another vegetarian fast food copycat, namely the (Fake) Long Chicken, this time with buns that are not cut at the top.

I made two of them with cheese and two without cheese. They were both good.
Unfortunately, I still have some mussgo leftovers of those buns, so I'll have to use them up tomorrow. After that, I'll be glad to eat something that doesn't have anything to do with fast food for once.
I did the dishes yesterday
Today is the first day with less than 10 hours of daylight
Today, it´s fishy Friday and I had a very strange experimental salmon-omlette with Mussgo carrot salad. The consistency of the omlett was pretty strange, it was very friable but it tasted really good!
For dinner I had cheese and the rest of the Mussgo-carrot salad.
last night was pork chops, Caesar salad and potatoes
But today is sunny, which is very unusual for late October here

I'd love to have some Caesar salad again. Problem is, I already have one scheduled vegetarian day per week, and Caesar dressing is not suitable for it, as it contains anchovies - and since I already have that one scheduled veggie day, I don't really feel like eating salad on any of those other days.
I might make it on one of my Fishy Fridays, maybe. Possibly with some of that fake crispy chicken that I like to make on No Meat Tuesdays. Because yes, I believe that Caesar salad is best served with chicken, making the situation even more complicated.
I'm out of anchovies anyway...
I love autumn! It´s soup- and stew time! Made Irish Stew for lunch and for dinner we´re having potatoe soup with bacon and homemade potatoe bread (which is absolutely Paleo!).

Caesar salad would be OK w/o anchovies -- but it couldn't do w/o the Parmesan IMO
I make my own Caesar dressing, because while the local stores do carry some pre-made bottled versions, I had a look through the ingredients and wasn't impressed. I thought chopped anchovies were a necessity in order to make that dressing. Are you using store-bought versions, or how do you do it?
There are several decent offerings available in stores.
They don't measure up to home-made, but nobody at Castle Vorpal has the time or motivation any more...
