It's also garbage day — I much prefer dry days on garbage day, since the bins come back inside dry
long weekend here — Monday is "BC Day" (in reality just an excuse for a summer holiday).
It is going to be sunny and warm — the official forecast high is 29, however here at Vorpal Manor, we're typically 2C higher than the forecast (and 2C colder in winter)

Well, will wonders never cease — it reached 29 here yesterday, but no higher
We had a gathering of the clan last night — complete with a lobster feed.
In keeping with the traditions of the 21st century, here is a picture of our food
the wash-disher showed an error code indicating a drain fault. I cleared all the filters and checked the drain — it was fine.
Ran a rinse cycle successfully.
Ran a load of dishes successfully (thankfully — this was the load after the lobster party).
Next day — drain fault again.
This time I found a small chunk of glass in the pump housing. I removed it and have now run two loads without error.
OK Fine.
Today I get in the car only to fine one tire showing low pressure. Must be a really slow leak, because this happens about once every two weeks. I keep forgetting to get it checked. Tomorrow for sure. I would have today, but it's a holiday and everything is closedy-updy
I wonder if this thread will be the place to go for Vorpal's dishwasher news again, like back in the day. 
Obviously, though, I hope that everything is going fine.

Of course — nobody cares, and news about our wash-disher is extremely uninteresting
Last Saturday late at night, I went to the bathroom, like elderly guys do, and I heard a beep beep sound from downstairs. I thought to myself: "This is why we have a door to the basement, so that we do not hear the freaking beep of the dryer that it is done."
Anyway, next morning I go down for breakfast, I find that I had left the freezer door open and it was almost up to room temperature.
Big punishment for nasty thoughts.
Would not get back down more than -6 °C in the evening, so I odered a new one , the same evening on Amazon.
Next morning, -18°C. Canceled the order.
Only a small punishment
