I didn´t expect THAT today!!! 
On the way to the doctor something must have happened, I don´t know what, but just about 7 minutes of cycling lead to a FLAT TIRE!!!!!!!! 
With my prescription (for physical therapy) in my hand, I wanted to cycle back home and then noticed it! The back tire of my bicycle was FLAT LIKE A PANCAKE!!!!!!!!
Had to walk back home, pushing my bicycle ....

However it was necessary to keep the universe in balance.
On the other side of the planet, a certain person Vorpal noticed that his left-front tire was a wee bit low.
So he pumped it up.

This Vorpal person took the tire to a tire shop where they discovered a piece of metal embedded in the tire.
How could a tire have a chunk of metal in it for 3 weeks and only leak so slowly?

I often noticed a bunch of metal screws on the ground at work, around the containers where paper waste and old pallets get collected. I pick them up whenever I notice them, because there are a bunch of cars driving around that area too, both delivery vehicles and private cars, including my own. One of the reasons is that I have been in the same situation as you before.
