Yeah, I thought so too.
When we first moved in, there was a stray that hung around our place.
We fed it once or twice, but it never came back.

The life of a feral cat is often very short -- coyotes love 'em for lunch

I see. A house cat could be pretty old sometimes. I had 2 cats of 17+ old in the end.

I have never heard a fawn vocalize before. Every one I've ever encountered in the wild was totally silent.

This was for child and mom a scary moment. Than it's not to weird they get in panic.

Female deer can get aggressive protecting fawns.
This one seemed to recognize that the humans weren't a threat.
She seemed confused...

That for sure. She was scared as well for her child. The goal was like a prison for the child.

Not a wild pet, but this is interesting -- especially since one or our cats seems to be "my" cat.
