Turned out I slightly misunderstood the special offer w34z3l was giving away. Instead of a free coaching session it was a 1,5 hour sessions in the Leakfinder program instead of 1 hour sessions. obviously I had set my mind up to getting a free coaching session which was an outstanding offer, but this offer is still very good and it gives me a chance to get even more time to find my leaks and improve my game, so no I look forward to our first session this tuesday.

But now it's time to grind, I was thinking about making a lockdown, but that might be too much, so I will just play until I don't feel like playing any more, maybe taking a short break after each hour. But no more talk now lets grind it down!

Experimenting with checking the turn when I have top set, this time it wasn't pretty, but what do you think b/b/b? And how would you react to a shove on the river?

I managed to put in a good session so far today, but the results was pretty terrible, but what can you do, sometimes the luck just ain't with you, at least I got a $10 bonus, so I breakeven for the day so far. I'm just gonna get something to eat and watch a couple of episodes of Big Bang Theory or whatever I feel like and then get back to grinding.

Red isn't so nice but if we do it playing well then it's only variance :)

Today I had another good day, making almost 8 BI's + $10 bonus, and I was even running above EV which is nice from time to time! My bankroll is now at 40,5 BI's for NL10, so I think I'm going to move up very soon. Tomorrow I got my first coaching session with w34z3l which I really look forward to, I hope he can point out some things I can work on and generally how I can work on my game so I can improve.

I'm still a bit behind schedule for the month but I hope to catch up the next couple of days and in the weekend I might even get a bit ahead of schedule if I work hard.

I came, I played, I got stacked :f_mad:

Had a coaching session with w34z3l this morning, and I got something I can work on. Afterwords I was very positive because he told me my game was alright and that I should try to move up. I did, but I didn't turn out to be as good an idea as expected. After about 3,000 hands I'm down about 8 BI's at NL10, so back to NL5 for a while :(

The plan is now to get something to eat and then come back and put in an insane amount of volume at NL5 and hopefully run a bit better ;)

One weeks hard work at NL5, lost like that.

I don't really feel like putting any words on my graph for the month besides it was going so well. :( And to top it off my FTP account just got locked for "missing documentation".

Yesterday I didn't play much, only a bit of NL2 and some MTT's where I was close to getting a big score when i got 25 of 1xxx in a $1 tournament. Afterwords I was thinking a lot about what I was going to do when it comes to poker and I decided that I want to work hard and win, so I sat down and started reviewing hands and for one of the first times I really felt I knew what I was going to do and it really felt good.

Today when I got back from work I sat down made some updates on my HUD and started grinding, it didn't end up being a very long session, but I felt like I played very, just grinding it down and exploiting as much as I could and I think it went very well! For the future I will try to stay as focused as today and watch out for every possible detail and I believe I can beat the game and finally move up. _cool:

Now I will get back to reviewing. Today I just found out how to set up hotkeys to mark hands, so every time I was unsure about a hand today I got it marked. :)

I haven't updated for a while simply because I have kept losing, and after my sessions all I wanted to do was watch some TV Shows to cheer me up. Also I haven't played a single hand so far this week, I have spent the little time I have on studying and sleeping..

After my coaching session with w34z3l sunday I kept losing although I think I played well enough to at least put up a positive session, so I think/hope that it's just run bad, but going into negative for the month I start to doubt if I just suck at poker and will never win again. So I decided to take a little break from playing, but that doesn't mean I can't study, I have especially been looking at 3 betting and 4 betting which w34z3l pointed out as something that needed improvement, the next thing I will focus on will be cold calling and reaction against 3 bets, which I think is going to be a bit harder.

Now lets get to the sad results :/

Today I decided to play a session for the first time this week, it was pretty clear in the beginning that last week was terrible, I did not play super great, but after some time I got in the zone and overall I think I played pretty good, but at the end I started losing, so decided to stop instead of starting to splash away money.

An other great thing happened to me today, for the first time in some months I made a royal flush and got paid big time...!

If this is the one chance I got for posting a winning graph this week I'm not gonna blow it.

Time to sum up teh moth.

Today:

This Month:

I think it was a pretty good month despite I had a nasty downswing when I took a shot a 10NL and I actually got in the negative for the month, but the danish viking warrior pulled through and came back in the green I also got $90 i bonuses so it's not all that bad.

This month I also feel like I have learned a ton, I have been looking a lot on my game and how I could improve it, I got two coaching by w34z3l and I got one more that I might have next weekend if he has time.

The only thing that didn't go as planned was the gym goal, I didn't even get signed up for the gym, but I realized pretty quickly that I probably don't have enough time to go to the gym next month I will hopefully drag my ass down there and get signed up and maybe go there in the weekends and one weekday, but I really want to spend as much time as possible on poker. :)

I'm really hoping to continue my run good and get a goodie bag after this challenge if they don't find me goof enough for the session review

I think it's about more than volume, you gotta show that you apply yourself to the game in more ways than just table volume.

I will be honest and say I haven't read many other blogs, so I don't know how well everyone else has done, but I feel that I have done my best this month although the results could have been better.

Edit: Just realized realized the challenge is clearly volume based which is kind of a joke since it was pretty hard to find out about, but I don't want to be a bad loser (which is against my nature ). But GG to the winner, still hope I can win a goodie bag and that pokerstratgy will be more clear about what their competitions is about in the future, since I easily could have played 10-15K hands more this week which might have put me in the second place.
