Unreal [marathon] challenge. 500k hands in 1 month

Wow, I would definitely fail if I had to do this challenge. Seems like a really hard challenge, especially if you haven't used to this kind of volume. Good luck, would be quite sick ending for this blog to reach that 500k hands with a profit!

it might just be bad luck dropping money big time 2 days in a row at the end of the session...

Maybe i shouldnt have stopped, but im so fucking tired. Was fucking in the zone.
A rough guess is this session is maybe 25bi up, or maybe 35. But idc. Doesnt really change much anyway.
Around 3 times i made regs fold Overpair with air. Not to talk about shoving 250bb with marginal twopair to another marginal overpair that calls.

Best session so far without any comparison.

The thing about counting mistakes i really dont like. Its like you feel worse everytime you do it. think i got to 18, and then i stopped counting)

Anyway, bathroom, little food, and then 11-12k hands. Im not counting in 2nd half, but im still doing the penalty of ~2k hands extra.

So today i will aim for as many hands as possible, but i WILL stop if the time reaches 0200 tonight. Otherwise im pushing my sleeping rythm too much. But if i play flawless, i might just push it to 0300.

Ur right. That is exactly why i didnt want to look at my graph before end of month. I feel so resultsorientated because of it. If it was yesterday i had a session start like i had today, i would have made 2x the amt of profit roughly. It was like, i was sitting with 420 bb on 1 table after 10 min. 3 tables with ~250 bb. That made me spew ♦

I have maybe played 1.5m hands fullring FL on partypoker micro micro FL1 with a bb/10 of 2.3 Thats though a year or so back in time. NL fullring i've also played a lot, but havent got any precise volume on how much. A bit less than on FL.
I do also hope i end up with a profit. To be honest i will be dissapointed to see anything below 3 bb pr 100. But maybe not so much if it turns out to get hard after the first 300k hands. Dno

Hmm its really a bad habit to watch tv for an hour before i sleep in the bed. ATM my days are 25-26 hours. That isnt working. And it seems i have to sleep atleast 11 hours, if not 12, before i even wake up. Not sure if i can set the clock, and try a day where i sleep less. Like maybe only 9-10 hours. But this needs to be fixed. Otherwise i only have 28.5 days in this month.

Would be sick to try out a day where i play 18k in 1 session. But i need food and water to keep beeing a bit healthy.

Not really sure how healthy this is, when playing so many hours. Maybe its just a wakeup call for me, that i need to get past. Coming from beeing lazy and not used to work for so many hours. But nonetheless, i have to figure out a way to get it fixed.

Yesterday my hands pr hour was 1418 the first 4h23m hours. And the last session i played 1531 pr hour 6h36m.

When i go to bed, i have a habit. All habits can be broken, but do any of u guys have a suggestion to how to do it? Because i am for sure tired enough to fall asleep. And still it takes me 1-3 hours to fall asleep?

Not that i care about loosing 2bi to same guy or anything. So i thought by myself that it didnt tilt me. But found myself unconciously doing bad things. But it has also something to do with the fact that with such a long session, im not that much aware in the end of it.

So yesterday i played a little poor. But not really bad, just poor. So today since i dont care how much i win or lose, im gonna see how much i can push my hand/h.

So if it feels right, im taking a session of 20k hands in 1 stretch. Maybe i need to run out to the bathroom to pis and then sit out. But its because i find my day rythm a little bad, so i want to get ahead of the challenge, so i can wake up even earlier tomorrow. Thought alot about what i did wrong in the bed tonight (2 hours of thinking before i fell asleep ♦)

So i need hmm, food, food, water, coca cola and nuts so i can withhold my energy lvl to a decent grade.

I thought about how far i can take a session, before i get broken eyes. And that the day before yesterday i kept playing good for 7 hours tells me i SHOULD be able to make a serious long session.

This is a serious rollarcoaster of performance today. Went little under expectation in the first 2hours, but still ok. Then i tilted a little. Then started to play really good for 3 hours or so again. And in the end i started tilting. Not only playing bad. TILTING. Seeing A4 as AA, Q7o as QQ honestly thought when i snapped a flop shove with Q high that i had QQ, i see his hands and thinks, lol nice, a chop pot. Went past it, and thought i was starting again to play a little better. Just to see myself raging @ all the shortstackers on the table ♦ and rage shoving their tiny 3bets with Broadways.

Anyway, felt like this could kill my br bigtime, and i have to be carefull, and then i see i was up 3 bi, and 7 bi ev -.-

But tomorrow my day start much earlier ♦ And then im gonna do 2-3 sessions. Do the serious warmup. And after first session actually review my play up until now. Since i will have like 4 hours extra. And then im gonna meditate to warmup again in 2nd session. Maybe also in first. But when i wake up, i mostly just want to play ♦

GTO wise you never fold a set unless your range has a lot of flopped straights and or flushes in it no matter how deep because GTO Wise you play your range with disregard to the opponents range and that means never folding the absolute top of your range which sets are almost always.

I would raise flop big. OTT I would fold i guess ( In the same spot I would ship it i guess ♦) the guy is pretty tight. Once the J hits he can have 2 sets better than yours. I dont think he would slow play AA here

Yeah ino it wasnt abc to call the bleeder, but i prayed the tight rfi had AK AQ and would raise. Maybe i should raise some more sets. It seems though that even the VERY bad regs know how to fold TPTK to a big raise.
I guess im the only 1 not folding to big raises when i have grinded for 6 hours straight ♦

If we take it further, and says u are 450bb deep, its a VERY VERY dry board, the river is a 9, u have a 777 middle set on flop. Pot is 65bb and you are IP and villain donks 50bb (he is also deep) you raise to 145bb, and he shoves 600bb in the pot, u have 285bb left and need to call 285 to win 260bb??? I would snap call if i had been grinding for 12 hours, but fold if it was the first 4 hours of the day.

Interesting you would never think someone slowplay AA here. There is a bleeder. He bleeds 2bb everytime it is his turn, and you are so far ahead that letting some other catch up would mean more action than just a foldx3. Maybe i need to slowplay a little less ♦

Very very wierd session. I was trying out a lot of thing in the beginning so i had a rep of a donating fish on almost all 24 tables. Then i exploited it bigtime later in session ♦
Tried out lots of different spots to bluf in, and to vary raise size, and bet size. When i stopped, and took it very serious, i just started winning on all tables ♦ I guess this is 1 of the downsides when playing so late in such a long day. This will cause me to get a lot behind in hands. But i kinda knew when i started that there would be pressure on getting all 500k.

Note to self. Playing layed back with the thinking of: no rush, then its almost impossible to not get in + in every session. I have just played like a retard the last few days. I think i found my correct rythm again.
Since all theese freakin shortstacks turn up with AA KK etc im getting so tired of them - im tilting in the end everytime. But now i will analyse. Make it a long day, and then play 4-5 more hours and go to sleep tomorrow 0500.

Sorry to the shortstack i raged @ because he complained about his KK didnt hold up. Told him he should move down a limit ♦ sry

3 hours watching tv before i fell asleep. If i keep doing this, im gonna have 460k hands the 30. And i cant even play the 30 due to christmas dinner. So maybe i should aim after 27k hands, and have 26-30 hours days instead. Im not sure if this will just boost a decrease the volume. But something needs to be done.

However i learned a lot yesterday. And i will just continue this today.

Could also be nice to have a session where i can say im 10/10 satisfied during 100% of the grind.
