Because all the regs do it?
Because all the regs do it?
So what. If all the regs jump out of the 10th floor would you do it? No point to do it. Unless you are with tiny bankroll. But it's your buissness after all

No, I would not. I would jump out of the 11th floor. I'm special that way.
Dont be defensive. I am advising you for your own good. When you play it once your opponents will lose more in preflop all in situations and in all in situations at all. Witch means they will tilt more and potentially get emotional and angry. You can capitalize on this.
An interesting thing about agreeing to run it twice or three times.
It changes the adversarial dynamic to a more cooperative one.
Who knows what kind of breaks you'll get if you toss some poor schmuck a lifeline by agreeing to run it twice

Okay, I understand but I've been running it once for 28 years now, and I wanna try something new for a season.
Like, I want the option to run the rest of the deck instead of three times, I hope GG Poker will add that soon.

Play stud — sometimes it feels exactly like that
The purpose of DT is to reduce the variance. There is no variance on the micro stakes. So it's pointless.

Where do you play and what stake?
How did I save my stack here?

How did I know? Sometimes you have to guess but the sizings that he uses tells me that he probably is a fish.
No variance in the micros ? i knew it had a mind of it's own, i always run it as many times as requested as well and usually ask for run it twice on GG. It just lowers the short term variance. Ive also started cashing out high equity spots on GG if offered also because there is no charge.

That's why I asked NB135 where he plays because variance is like death and taxes, you cannot escape them if you play any type of poker at any stakes.

And how do you jump out of a floor whether it be 10th or 11th ? sorry i had to ask.
It was metaphorically said. Because players are so weak that you can win even on a "downswing streak". Even when the AA dont hold.
You seem both of you with pretty nitty mindset. I dont undersand how do you expect to win when you play safe in a game of chance. Taka some chances, risk, gamble from time to time. It's poker, not chess.
Poker is a game of toughness
because variance is like death
Because your winrate is low. The lower your winrate is the more variance you will expirience and vice versa
Put it in other words. Skill=high winrate > variance

vs two very very tight regs here,
Imagine if I was in this pot running it twice, I would've tied TT and 87s but 87s loses to TT, and my stack comes back to me minus the rake.
or
I decided to gamble and run it once and scoop the whole thing.
It adds a whole new element to the slop machine that is poker.

I think you misinterpret what I said about death and taxes because it has nothing to do with your win rate. Now let me ask you a question. Do you pay taxes and are you dying?
